This game is a workout and I love it! The game looks amazing, the physics feel so good, and it's a good challenge! The biggest fun thing for me is that it actually gets me moving and thinking. As someone who has been learning how to properly use a longsword and a halberd, it's very cool how well those skills can translate into the game, which is just another lovely layer. The fact that there are different enemy types with different strategies of their own really keeps you on your toes. The nice part is that the game isn't too easy for someone to get bored with, but definitely not too difficult where you're having a hard time. That being said, there are some downsides. The campaign is enjoyable, and after you finish on normal, you can play hardcore where you can attempt to beat the campaign in one life. The downside is that you can't play it again without making a new profile, which sort of stunts the replayability, I think. You have the training mode where you can fight the undead to your heart's content, but I do wish there were more levels like you see in the campaign. If you're like me and prefer that circular space, you'll only really enjoy playing on one map. With the campaign being limited and the training mode being repetitive, there isn't much else. Although I do have fun, I think adding some game modes would be really healthy to mix things up! Overall, Hellsplit Arena is a really fun game and I cannot recommend it enough! I constantly have an itch to play, and as long as updates keep coming, it'll for sure be a regular in my gaming rotation.

I love the game, Blade and Sorcery will always be king. But I like to come here when I need a different kind of combat. I like blade and sorcery for the interactions, but this game. I will role play the ♥♥♥♥ out of shadow of war and mordor in this. The mods exist, but not many. The devs have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ us over. I don't need a lot added, just some better stabbing physics and new weapons. New maps and enemies would be awesome. But as of the past couple of years, this game is just left for dead. I'd be surprised if the devs are still even aware of this game. sad to see this game forgotten

I think this game is great, I would just love to have more enemy attack animations, they can be repetitive. Other than that, I love the graphics and game physics.

On the same level as Blade and Sorcery, this game is better in some aspects but worse in others, if you have´played BnS and you liked it, check out this game.

Combat is fun and engageing though i wish it had something like BnS`s Crystal Hunt mode If you like Arena stuff and Gorn is a little too cartoony for you this is a good substitute for Arena Combat
