i had fun. but after i captured all the cities not i got nothing to do.... patch fastest please :) Still a lot of idiots dont understand what Early Access actually is... its a way to get funds. disliking the game when they patches faster to fix problem wont help the game get actually finish since negative reviews will affect it. no money means no game being build. this is the life of a indie.

The description on the Steam Page is a little vague as to what the game is, but yes, the "Chinese Mount and Blade" references in the reviews intrigued me as I love that game! This game has been compared to Mount and Blade. I think that is a bit of a disservice to both games. They are both unique in their own way. HuaXia has the potential of being a more in depth game. Key word is potential - at least for non-Chinese speakers. I waited a few days to buy HuaXia. I wanted to see how often the updates were being made and what was being updated before I decided to purchase. Eventually I broke down and purchased it as I could see consistent updates were being made to the core of the game. Yes, that means translation and all the meticulous little horizontal word wrap, empty text boxes are at the wayside for the moment. Let me make this clear - Do not buy this game currently if you have problems with bad English, no text, or not knowing what you are doing. I only know what I'm doing a tenth of the time. However, if you have patience and a willingness to learn as well as give feedback, then please try it out! The Bulletin Board in towns has quests that you can select for rewards. You can see the rewards that you will receive, but there is no description of what you are supposed to do in order to complete the quest. Even after you accept, most likely the description in your quest log is in Chinese. There is an easy fix if you are determined to play the game like me. Use Snippet to capture the quest information, then use Google Translate from Image to get a description. Why am I continuing to play if so much is missing? Because if you spend the time to read what IS available in English, you could see that it is a very in-depth game. Some features aren't worth using though in English yet. For example: I tried to raise my Affinity with a Hero using "Admire Beauty". The dialogue was absent, and then I was given 3 Choices 3 times as a minigame. Those choices were blank. So I just randomly pressed boxes until the end, and the Affinity either went up or down. Frustrating now, but it has potential to be rewarding. I have gone through the character creation and initial town tutorial several times, because I've been dabbling with different character builds as well as learning. Again, if you read what is there in English, it does help. For me, there are two learning curves - one Chinese mythology and culture and two how to play the game. Some of the tutorials have no direction - they are just images with arrows pointing and the mind shuts down because it sees Chinese. How many different ways do you need to be told how to use a map though? As far as missing dialogue goes, how many people click-click-click through the text anyway? The character creation is great! If anything, I would argue that they don't have enough options for noses- but I complain about that in every game! Take your time going through the character creation and you can learn quite a bit - at least about the stats involved. I press randomize on the basic overview tab until I get the outfit that I want to be wearing, and then everything else can be changed. Bloodline, name, Month of Birth, Hobbies, and Personality can all be changed. Additionally, on the Skills tab, you can press randomize again and it will change only skills - not change the previous tabs. If you take it slow (and maybe do it once or twice), the initial tutorial is easy to pick up. Overall, I give this game a Thumb's Up! This is based on what is currently available, the updates that the developers are making, as well as the potential of what is already there but can't be seen (for non-Chinese speakers).
