I've played Ib countless times by now, both in the free version and now in the remaster. Though I will admit the original holds a special place in my heart, the remaster is still quite good. I don't think it entirely managed to capture the creepy atmosphere of the original, but it's a very good game on its own. I wish the Sacrifice ending were included (maybe I just didn't find it yet?) as that was the only one I missed in the original, due to it being time-limited. Overall, the puzzles in the game are logical and fun, the horror aspects are spooky, and the emotional heart of the story is very solid! I do think having a bit more time to spend with the secondary characters would be great, but the game's already very nice as is. Though the requirements for the best ending are still as tedious as they were in the original... maybe even more.
This was my introduction to the love of Horror elements in the beginning but it also has a really nice charming moments with characters that you cant help but bond with. Mad Father, The Witch's House and Ib really made me who i am as a person that made me grown to love RPG games that have that kind of charm. Can you believe its been almost been since 2012 back then. Time do sure flies....
