criminally underrated game. it's an rpg maker game with actually amazing gameplay. not even sure how that's possible lol story is decent, execution was mixed but mostly good (edit: emphasis on mostly good. my complaints are mostly nitpicks or just how certain scenes are presented) im honestly considering making a lengthy MarshSMT-esque video essay about this game just to get into how engaging of an experience this game is

A must-play for anyone getting into "real" RPGMaker games. Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass hits a nice middle ground between quality of life and complexity, with simple stats and clearly-defined mechanics but enough room for strategy in a fight. Jimmy is easy to beat even on the normal difficulty, but bonus content can ask for a lot more investment and character building.

It plays like how I want Earthbound to play every time I try to go back to it. It has all that charm (albeit with some tonal shifts) but with so many of today's modern conveniences. The job system is fun to play around with and finding a build that fits your play style is very satisfying. The writing is good, with several jokes making me chuckle. Finally exploration is rewarded well and very few of the puzzles were obtuse. I cannot reccommend this game enough.

Great game! It has some friendly visual, the dialog is funny a but sometimes there's going to be gore spat to your face while playing. It is also oddly hard like it is meant for hardcore RPG fan so if it's too hard for you, you should just change the difficulty in the setting. Also, the game horrifyingly packed with lots of content, like wayyyy too much that I cannot expect anymore so if you want to go on a long RPG run this is a top pick for you.
