This is a bit of difficult game to recommend to others, since it does have some flaws that some people might not be able to overlook. First in foremost there's not much of an engaging story beyond the initial setup. Even after you finish the game and see the extra scenes it does very little to explain why these girls are being kidnapped, or why they were specifically chosen. Then for half the game each interaction with the girls is very similar with a few changes, which feels very repetitive considering how many of the girls you have to talk to. After that each girls' story gets more interesting. The choice system is simple, where you choose between two options. Most of the time it leads to one right answer giving you more points and the other one point. Other times both options give you just one point and the outcome is almost exactly the same. Ultimately acquring more points for your favorite girls doesn't seem to matter as of the time I played the game, because you can unlock all the endings automatically. It just seems silly the way the system is setup where it's fairly easy to acquire the points since there are only two options at a time, yet the points don't matter. The production is solid for what it is. There only a few locations in the game. It's obvious the developers used all the budget to secure all these actresses; who are fan favorites in the genre, and that's the main draw. The ladies' acting is really good, as expected from their experience in prior games. I will applaud most of the endings to be more than worth checking out. It's just the way their worded is a bit misleading, as Normal is a short ending when you just get caught and taken away, True Ending shows you escaping and plays extra scenes showing other girls getting kidnapped, Popularity is the actual true ending and Bonus is additional scene that is adds to this. Beating the game and seeing all the endings takes about 5 hours. It's a linear game so there's not much to do after that. Overall this is a fun game if you keep your expectation low. I do hope it's successful, so we can see a sequel with a more fleshed out story/branching path system, and more locations.
Eight familiar faces from my favorite FMV titles come together in this one. The cast alone is worth the price—big names, solid acting, and plenty of fan service scenes that don't disappoint. The setting is interesting: trapped in a prison-like building with surveillance everywhere, you deliver meals to eight women for four days and must choose who to save. However, the story is extremely thin. Dialogue is repetitive, scenes stay the same throughout, and you'll sit through nearly identical conversations eight times per day. UI is basic with no proper flowchart, and some endings are locked behind real-time unlocks or old game achievements. Bottom line: buy it if you're a fan of these actresses and want some eye candy. If you're here for story or meaningful gameplay, skip it. Hope the sequel gets a better script.

Finally finished the whole game at nearly 12 hours. Story-wise, yeah, not much to desire, we all know we bought this to support our favorite actresses. We've met them in previous games we played and can't just pass up a new game they're in. The girls get kidnapped, you can save 1 at a time, and you eventually come to your senses as the original main character from Undead Realm: Ego and the Back series, Ren Xing, and Ye Tan is still your partner by the end, investigating anomalies along with Gao Yan. Wish Mystery Crown would at least have good enough sales to follow-up on this cause yeah, it was bleak as it didn't really explain why those specific girls got kidnapped and by who. Just that we escaped with 1 of them each time until we woke up by the end, realizing it was all a hallucination. It was most probably an easter egg for Ye Tan and Ren Xing but yeah, wish we can have more explanation in case a sequel arrives. Stayed for the cast, played for the cast, enjoyed the cast.
