WHAT!? YOU GOTTA SPEAK UP! NO, THEY SAY IT'S NOT SERVICE RELATED! This game is the poster child for good sound design. The deafening shots and every metallic creak make the Iron Nest feel incredible. Overall it scratches a very specific itch if you love big machinery and doing repetitive procedures efficiently. As the levels go on you learn new ways to triangulate and you get your own workflow that feels really good.
I think I would have had straight A+ in math class in school if they just told me I was calculating a white phosphorus artillery trajectroy to take out rebels. Fun game. - No performance issue on a laptop. - Has a cat - You can customize the said cat - Elementary school level math required
Played during next fest, absolutely fantastic. You can observe, hear, and feel the machine around you crank and whine and click when you do anything mechanical in the game. You enter a flow like state walking through the firing mission and I have NEVER had a more satisfied feeling than pulling the final lever to get the best THUNK/BOOM in all of gaming. As a bonus, the main menu also has an espresso machine. 10/10.
