If you're reading this you're probably a dev of someone trying to see if this game is worth buying or not. Before buying this I did the same thing with people saying it wasn't worth it and a bad game, It does exactly as expected not less or more it's a simulator, like Arma so you gotta learn the game a bit, Its mainly for military so it won't be a game made for gamers and more as a good tutorial a bit like liftoff but with more things to take account

As someone who’s spent a lot of time with simulators, here are my two cents on this one. I honestly think it doesn’t get the credit it deserves. The number of negative reviews doesn’t really reflect the quality of the experience. A lot of the criticism focuses on a lack of content, and while I can’t say how it was at launch, in its current state there’s a solid amount to work with. Could it use more content? Absolutely. But it’s important to understand the purpose of this simulator. It’s designed for repetition, drilling, and refining very specific skills, and in that regard, it succeeds. There’s a good variety of indoor and outdoor scenarios that let you fine-tune the kinds of skills required for this style of drone flying. This isn’t a racing sim, and it’s not meant for freestyle. It has a focused goal, and I think the developers have done a great job delivering on that vision. The simulator does feel like a work in progress, but what’s available right now is already quite decent. One area where it really shines is the simulation of wind and the frustration of signal loss, both feel convincing and add a lot to the realism. My only real critique is the physics. They feel slightly off to me. I’ve never flown a quadcopter carrying a “payload”, so it’s possible this is accurate, but the controls sometimes feel floaty and a bit slippery, as if the drone is sliding rather than responding crisply. That said, this could very well mirror real-world behavior under these conditions. Overall, if you approach this simulator with the right expectations and understand its purpose, there’s a lot here to appreciate, and it’s already a strong foundation that can only get better with time.

We are Drone Fight Club (DFC) and we already trained more than 5000 pilots, and UFDS was one of the parts. UFDS feels much closer to real FPV than most simulators. We use UFDS as an additional training tool: for beginners to understand FPV basics and physics, to safely practice with payload before real flights, to test reaction speed and decision-making. We recommend UFDS like base profession tool to anyone who wants to learn FPV seriously, not just play. — Drone Fight Club (DFC)

I feel this Sim gets quite a few unfair negative reviews. Not saying there are no problems, for example having ARM default to an Axis doesn't make any sense, but its also nothing that will keep someone used to flying fpv drones away. there is a lot of criticism about how this requires an RC controller to be playable, but that is true for most drone sims. Gamepads or keyboards just don't provide what you need to get an evem semi-realistic experience out of this, while even an entry-level radio will make it an experience. this sim has decent graphics, a decent physics simulation, and if you care to go to the training/tutorials you get a path to learn the basic drone controls that is better than buying an FPV drone and crashing it in the ground on first flight. Considering this is more Sim than Game, as a real fpv pilot i like this, but its maybe not as easy as some people expect. thumbs up from me.

This is the best military drone simulator I’ve tried. The physics are excellent and the game even models electronic warfare interference and weather conditions into account. There’s a fairly advanced target engagement system too — hitting a target isn’t as simple as it seems. There aren’t many missions yet, but for a start it’s really solid. I’m looking forward to future updates. The battleground mode is perfect for warming up.
