I rediscovered this gem on YouTube the other day. A video popped up for it and I went "Impossible." The video was uploaded 2 days prior. There's no way it was recorded before flash shut down. For grins and giggles, I typed Jacksmith into Steam. Lo and behold, the classic flash game from my childhood was on the Steam Store for 6 bucks. I can say that the game has held up for all these years. It's enough to make a grown man cry.

Look, here's the thing. This game is amazing in its own right, without even factoring the nostalgia. But, since this game is now a Steam game, not Adobe Flash game anymore, it needs to adapt so that the players can continue to enjoy this game. Here are some recommendations: - Expand the shop, so that you can buy ALL components, not just what you didn't buy (the shop ONLY change goods if you buy something.) - In addition, have the shop sells upgrades, such as auto collect fallen loots, faster cannon reloads, timers for the crucible, guide for perfect assembly (hammering, poles, grips, paint, etc.), and the ability to attract certain soldier types for the day (e.g. I want to forge an epic design of a sword, so I want to make at least one soldier guaranteed a sword wielder. - BALANCE! Soon, even crystal weapons will be undone by the monsters as you progress the game, so please balance it out. - Cosmetics wise, add a feature where you can customize the soldiers, both appearance and gender. - finally, expand the lore to make the game more interesting. That is all for my review, the game is amazing in its own right, but these can help make the game even more amazing.
