I don't usually play detective/mystery games, but Jenny LeClue has made me reconsider. The characters were endearing and I found them all very likable, which was definitely helped by the stellar voice acting this game provides. The mystery aspect captivated me and made me want to find out the secrets hidden in Arthurton. The one bad experience I had with Jenny LeClue was the ending. As stated on the store page, it ends on a cliffhanger, and a big one at that. This game is only Part 1 of a two-part series, and as of October 2026, Jenny LeClue 2 is not out yet. That being said, I argue that the rest of the game is more than good enough in quality, entertainment, and content to make up for the ending. Speaking of, the ending does still answer the game's core mysteries, the cliffhanger coming from a new mystery being introduced last minute. Jenny LeClue 2 also hasn't been cancelled, and is still being worked on by the devs, who are apparently working to secure funding, and also working on other projects. Despite one glaring issue, I still absolutely adore Jenny LeClue. It was extremely charming, funny, and scratched an itch I didn't even know I had. If a sequel is ever released, I'm buying it day one.
Loved this game - mainly because of the characters and story - it felt really fresh and fun and compelling. As others have said, the ending leaves you wanting more, but I think that's a good thing, really hope the makers can make a sequel. It also felt like unique gameplay, like a lot of thought had gone into making something a little bit different, no puzzle was too tough but they all felt really satisfying. Basically, it's great!
