Almost 0 microstransactions (Most cosmetics are currently attainable with in game currency) Smooth gameplay, with satisfying, weighty weapons, slick driving physics, good enemy density/variety. Some small potential negatives; non-impactful, but serviceable story/world building, not a huge amount of content, but enough to justify the cost with good replayability and confirmation of plans for more in the future. Overall I would say it as a strong initial impression and would probably rate it 7-8/10

Good game, if they dont abbandon it and keep launching content, it will worth the purchase, otherwise it will be expensive.

This game is an absolute blast! I have not had such a great zombie shooter experience in a long time. The aesthetics and atmosphere are amazing, the weapon customization is excellent, and the replayability is surprisingly strong. It even includes drivable vehicles, which makes it even more fun. For this price, it is easily 10/10 zombie heads.

Really fun zombies slaying co-op FPS. I can't believe this game turned out to be better than Back 4 Blood, Killing Floor 3, Black Ops 7 zombies and WWZ. With John Carpenter's Toxic Commando you'll get good gunplay, sick gore effects and massive zombies swarms. A must have if you like the genre, so much fun and there's different classes each with their own abilities to change the gameplay experience. There's only three things I don't like: #1. The walking and running feels a bit too slow. #2. Most of the characters sounds annoying and they are kinda generic and uninteresting. #3. Friendly fire is always ON, random people griefing your games will happen a lot. Rating 8/10. I played the demo and beta for this game for more than 16 hours so I already know it's good.

A major leap forward for zombie games and a clear improvement over World War Z. Graphics: The graphics aren’t amazing, but they’re perfectly serviceable. Up close they can look a bit flat and uninspired, yet it doesn’t really hurt the experience because visuals aren’t what make this game shine, and for what it’s trying to do, the graphics get the job done. Audio: The audio is decent; not exceptional, but perfectly fine for what the game needs. Controls: The controls feel smooth and easy to pick up, but at the moment a lot of key bindings can’t be changed, which makes certain parts of the game frustrating to play. If this gets patched later it won’t be a big issue, but right now some actions are effectively unusable because not all keys register or can be rebound. Game-play and everything else after: You drop into a map, drive around, hit objectives, get stuck, ram through hordes, defend an area, then move on. The maps do shift between runs, though not dramatically, and each mission offers difficulty options plus scattered loot to keep things moving. It’s a rinse‑and‑repeat structure, but that’s part of the appeal—much like Left 4 Dead 2, the repetition is the point, and it works here too. There are four characters and four distinct skill trees, each supporting a different playstyle. Skills can be upgraded to feel genuinely powerful, and when you combine them with weapon upgrades and attachments, you can build some impressively strong loadouts. The progression system gives you plenty to tweak and optimise. Unlike World War Z, where distant hordes often looked like looping animations, this game actually throws huge, dense swarms right in your face. The volume of zombies can get wild, and fighting through them feels intense in a good way. On top of the basic horde, you’ve got special infected—chargers, bombers, tanks, and environmental threats like tentacle traps that grab or stab you. There’s always something trying to catch you off guard. The clearest way to describe it is a blend of Back 4 Blood, World War Z, and Cold War Zombies, built around a small open-world map where you roam, complete objectives, gather loot, defend zones, and stack up XP, cash, and gear. The loop is familiar but effective. As for the story… no idea. I tend to skip cutscenes, my wife doesn’t, and I haven’t been paying attention. I’m mostly here to jump in and smash zombies. Would I recommend the game? Yes, without a doubt it's a good zombie game that isn't stupidly priced, oh and it's not an EGS which always gets the Steam vote!
