EDIT - For those questioning why I'm playing with controller on a pc, I'm playing on a Lenovo Legion Go . Hopefully that helps. I played an... Lets call it excessive amount of the demo a while back. I've been waiting for it to FINALLY drop. I jumped in long enough to check and make sure it's still as amazing as I remember it and yes, yes it is. My one criticism so far is that when playing on controller, the x/y axis on the left stick is either 100% or 0% (as in you cannot walk or gradually increase movement). Not a deal breaker and I'm sure I've missed something but I just wanted to note it for anyone who was curious/if the devs were listening. Everything else worked so well I made sure to gift a second copy to my partner so I can make them play with me finally!

I'm not gonna lie it has the Deep Rock Galactic vibes but youre literally in no man sky. I really love it. Also the game is quite optimized.

The game is amazing. The space combat is fun, the guns are responsive, everything works as it should. It feels like someone took Warframe's Railjack missions and heavily refined it into its own thing. The amount of potential on display here is huge. While I do highly recommend it, it is important to stress that it's literally just entering early access. Because it is so early into early access, the variety between enemy types, missions, mission maps, etc is going to be limited. If you don't like that, wait until it gets a few more patches under its belt.

Initial impression is great. The performance is top notch, very rare for an early access game... or any triple a title these days as well. You jump with a ship in space. 10/10 would jump again.

I just escaped a self-destructing jump drive jammer with seconds on the clock and rocketed away in cinematic fashion. This game is everything I'd ever hoped it'd be.
