One of my favorites! A shame its dead. However there is an active discord and people still want to play sometimes. I've played a few games of cops and robbers with some people. Wish they would update it and make it easier for casual pc gamers to launch and play it. Unfortunately the game has been review bombed by frustrated people that either think the game is broken or they just cant figure out how to get it to work. I believe a community can grow again. Amazing back in the day, gritty, cinematic, and full of attitude. It’s a shame it’s off Steam; a reboot or remake would be fantastic.

old game , good story , good characters , nice action and crime and not bad graphics as old game it was nice to play it even as single and maybe as coop its better if you didnt play this in past i guess no need to try now or regret it plus i cant make the game work anymore because of GFWL but maybe there is some fix there is second part of the game so i hope i enjoy it as much as i did with this .

The Kane and Lynch series is one of the most misunderstood in all of gaming. A gritty tale of two terrible and brutal criminals fight for a chance at redemption after being forced to face the many consequences to their past actions. Not many games, especially from this era, can instill so much dread in the player. Every mission ends in a trail of bodies, and you're left looking around wondering what it was all really for. You feel like you are perpetually digging yourself into a deeper hole until the very end. Visually, the game still holds up in many respects! The gameplay is just some generic third person shooter, but it feels quite good. The set pieces are pretty epic. There's way more to love here than most people give credit.

Rating not applied: I hold a soft spot in my heart for this game as one of the first things I played on seventh generation of console gaming (Xbox 360). The aesthetic and concept are still very appealing though the game play is janky, if not outright broken. Final mission is a complete pain, but if you can play through the game at least once I recommend it.
