Look, yall not buying this because you are searching that secret best fighting game. It is Kill la Kill content. Pre-corona. Game looks pretty much as in the trailers, the story is remix of the final fight. I bought this for 75% off, you should too. In the end, I got exactly what I expected... Nothing special, but Kill la Kill content.
This game is really fun, has great gameplay, several iconic characters to play as, and even an alternative story of Kill La Kill with new unique enemies not seen before in the anime. It had so much potential for further updates and characters, but unfortunately the devs abandoned it...
REALLY bad PC port but the game itself is rly fun and simple. The controls are rly easy so anyone can pick up and play it, and yet there's just enough depth for ppl who wanna come up with combo strings to indulge some time into. Just keep in mind that this still is a 3d arena fighter, so set your expectations fairly low for the depth of play. (This isn't going to beat out Guilty Gear anytime soon.) The story mode is also pretty nice, thanks to it diverging from the anime entirely and doing it's own thing. There's plenty to enjoy here, whether it'd be fans of KLK or someone looking for a cheap fighting game to cop. It goes on sale relatively frequently for 5 buckaroos, so don't miss out. Also, I highly recommend downloading the Restitched mod, It gets frequent patches and adds things that otherwise should've been in the base game.
Pleasantly surprised with this one, since most anime 3D-arena fighters are garbage (ArcSys > Bandai). Standard campaign you'd see in most anime fighters and decent combat. My main gripe is the vanilla game runs like hot doodoo, with FPS dipping to the low-20s during fight. For that, I'd highly recommend the Restitched mod on NexusMods. It would be nice to see some bonus DLC characters for the club presidents, like Takaharu the Boxing captain.
