Maybe a little dated by current standards but great game nonetheless. Hopefully we can get remastered OR remake but sadly sharkcards are priority

This game really makes you feel like a professional detective of the LAPD. To be honest, this game can be repetitive sometimes, but addictive at the same time due to a great storyline behind Cole Phelps. You really have to take your time and assimilate the cases properly and find all the clues to find out the real guilty. What make me really love this game is the 40s atmosphere, on the post-war period, and of course see LA and Hollywood recreated on these period, with the old cars, interesting places, clothing, lifestyle... The face MotionScan is something unbelievable for a game made in 2011, so original and novel, the facial expressions just seems like real people that you can understand only seeing his facial movements. Love that LA Noire mention the atrocious murders of Elizabeth Short and Jeanne French (Celine Henry in-game) by probably the mysterious Werewolf, besides you can do two cases about these murders and investigate them.

L.A. Noire is one of the few games out there that forces the player not to strategize, but to analyze. You’re studying the human face, gathering evidence and coming to conclusions based on that evidence. I just love the whole 1940s vibe so much the cars, style, music. Say what you will about the quality of the game, but to this day it is still one of the most distinct ones out there. Rockstar should give L.A. Noire another shot it would do really well.

Great game. I'm surprised there aren't any newer games with a similar concept.
