Murdered Soul Suspect is a true example of a peak noir detective story blended with supernatural elements. The game is nearly perfect, and each chapter keeps the investigation fresh and interesting. What makes it so special is its detective gameplay, where you gather clues and solve mysteries while navigating the world as a ghost. Being able to phase through walls adds a unique twist, and having to avoid hostile entities keeps the tension high throughout the experience The ghost mechanics are also incredibly fun. Being able to phase through walls, possess people, influence conversations, and explore areas inaccessible to the living gives the game a unique identity. It genuinely feels like you're playing as a spirit rather than a regular video game protagonist. On top of that, the game adds tension through hostile supernatural entities that can destroy you if you're not careful. These sections break up the investigations nicely and keep you on edge whenever they appear. While the stealth encounters aren't groundbreaking, they add enough danger to make exploration feel meaningful. It's not a flawless game. Some mechanics could have been deeper, and the gameplay occasionally shows its age, but the story, atmosphere, and investigation elements more than make up for those shortcomings. Overall 8.5/10, it's a flawless detective gem that deserves far more attention than it gets. If you enjoy mystery games, noir storytelling, supernatural themes, and solving investigations, Murdered Soul Suspect is absolutely worth playing

Murdered: Soul Suspect — Achievement Hunter Review 🕒 Time played: 13 hours 🏆 Completion: 100% game completion + all Steam achievements As an achievement hunter, I completed Murdered: Soul Suspect 100% in 13 hours, unlocking every Steam achievement. Overall, I enjoyed the game. The story is good, and the atmosphere of the city is one of the strongest parts of the experience. The dark detective theme mixed with supernatural elements creates a really unique feeling while exploring the world. The gameplay itself is fairly average, but it works well enough for the type of game this is. Investigation sections are interesting, and the game focuses much more on atmosphere and storytelling than action. For anyone going for 100% completion, my biggest advice is: start collecting collectibles as early as possible. There are around 250 collectible items in the game, so if you ignore them until the end, it can become very tedious to backtrack and clean everything up later. Most of the remaining achievements are story-related, so aside from collectibles, the completion process is pretty straightforward. From an achievement hunter’s perspective, this game is not difficult at all to complete at 100%. ✅ Pros: Interesting and enjoyable story Strong atmosphere and city design Relaxing and straightforward achievement list Unique detective/supernatural theme ❌ Cons: Gameplay can feel average at times 250 collectibles can become repetitive Backtracking if collectibles are missed 📝 Final Thoughts: Overall, Murdered: Soul Suspect was a good experience, especially for players who enjoy story-focused games with mystery and supernatural elements. For achievement hunters, the game is very manageable — just make sure to keep up with collectibles during your playthrough to avoid unnecessary cleanup later. I hope this review helped you in some way, and I wish everyone good luck on their journey to 100% completion 🏆👻🙂

You are a detective who is turned into a ghost and must hunt down your killer, a cool concept. The game itself is small in scale and will not go out of its way to be anymore than it presents. The gameplay does not change much from start to finish, you will face the same enemies throughout the entire journey and will not be surprised all that often. Overall this is not a great game, but it is a good game. And I think that is a good thing with tons of horrible games being charged at high price, a cheaply priced good game is a great thing every once in a while.

Certainly not the best game but I have to say that if you go in without high expectations it might surprise you. I personally liked the story and games simplicity, it reminded me of 2000s when games where games

This game is your typical gumshoe detective murder mystery with the twist that the detective is the murder victim. Your character is murdered in the first scene and then you spend the rest of the game solving the crime. Along the way you run into other ghosts as well as demons. You may also possess small animals and use their ability to crawl through small spaces to gain yourself access special locations. All in all, a fun time. Not very difficult but a decent story.
