It's a small, straightforward game. It IS a hallway simulator, but I enjoyed the different enemies and the new mechanics that slow dripped through the progression. For $5.00, it's hard to complain since it was decent. My one complaint though, is the very end. Spoilers So. The end boss. You play through. Buy a bunch of upgrades. Enhance yourself, and your army.... At the end, you walk out and fight the boss by your lonesome. Not even one one one because the boss summons adds while you whittle him down. It's so GD dumb lol. You spend the whole game upgrading you and your forces, you work your way through the hordes....only to walk away from your allies and personally deal with the final boss? AND you don't use all of the spells that you've upgraded, just two minor ones? Nahhhhh.
Fun for 3 hours. The thing the game lacks is replayability. In one run, you can get everything. My recommendation would be to add more mutually exclusive choices. Make every stage have a choice, give choices between different stages, and then have choices in the skill tree. You can also add mutators.
