This game is pretty simple... you play as Ichiban Kasuga, a main protagonist... a hero, action star, sujimon trainer, farmer, holiday resort manager, delivery boy, dr. doolittle, seducer, singer, beach lifeguard, pet collector, relationship coach....

A lot of content and definitely worth it. Story is exceptional. By far Yakuza/Like a Dragon title I have the most hours in. DLC not needed and should not be purchased as locking new game + and alternate difficulty levels behind a paywall is not acceptable (in my opinion).

This animal crossing game is pretty neat! Not too sure about the weird yakuza story attached to it though!

It's incredibly difficult for me to talk about this game. Sure, this is a wonderful JRPG with a unique setting and a combat system that has depth to it. Side activities keep you in your seat and so on. But what makes this game a 10/10 for me - from a subjective point of view, of course - is how they handled Kiryu. Seeing him weak with gray hair... I don't know what to say. Being in Kamurocho with him for the last time, reminiscing on all he went through. Losing many of his best friends, going through events no one should and despite that, carrying on for those he loves. I still remember buying Yakuza 0 when it came out on PC, thinking this is just gonna be another mediocre game. Ohh, how wrong I was. I was instantly hooked, and seeing Kiryu struggle and watching his life unfold made me forget about all of my problems. Talking with Date-san for one final time, reuniting with Yuya and Kazuki, meeting Nakajima again and so on. It was an emotional rollercoaster that I wasn't ready for. Thank you, Kiryu Kazuma, for shaping me into the person I'm today. Seeing you keep on going gave me strength to fight all my traumas. Seeing you not being afraid to love helped me regain my ability to feel emotions towards people again, after many years of inner turmoil. I will never, ever forget you. This may be the last time we meet. You are my hero. It doesn't matter that you are a video game character, you changed my life for the better, and I can not be more grateful for that. You've earned your rest, Dragon. When I'll encounter hardships in life, I'll think about what you would do if you were me. Your legacy will live on inside many of us. And thank you, RGG for never disappointing. You guys are one of the few trustworthy developers left in this industry.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Despite the fact that the "Yakuza" series is moving further and further away from its roots, now being called "Like a Dragon" in this installment with a turn-based combat system, it remains a very cool franchise. Even as it attempts to reinvent itself, it still tries to show a certain amount of respect for its old version. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3279451099 The storyline can still be both serious and absurd at times. The game offers a lot of side activities, many of which are fun enough to spend extra time on without getting bored. However, I have significant concerns about the grind walls in this installment. First of all, the game itself is already quite large, and for some unknown reason, the folks at Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio decided to stretch it even further - not by adding content, but by extending it, because grind walls are encountered much more frequently than one would like for people who just want to go through the story without farming gear and levels in boring and repetitive dungeons. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3280990624 Do the developers know what percentage of players actually reach the end credits? Even in games without grinding that are recognized as masterpieces, the figure rarely exceeds 30%. Making grinding not optional but necessary for progressing through the story in an already lengthy game seems insane to me in this day and age. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3305400171 In any case, despite this huge (for me personally) downside, I can't bring myself to give the game a negative review because it is still great and interesting. But I'm not sure that if they continue this trend, I won't lose my patience.
