Title: I typed her name anyway LoveChoice asks you at the very end: type the name of the one you love, or leave it blank. I knew we had broken up. I knew it was over. But I typed her name anyway. This game is short, quiet, and deceptively simple. Three stories about meeting, missing, and mistrusting. But somewhere between the second chapter and the third, I wasn't playing anymore—I was remembering. High school. The girl I turned to look at during the radio calisthenics, just one beat longer than I should have. The seat I walked past on purpose when handing out notebooks. The sound of her laugh I memorized during a sudden blackout in evening self-study. We confessed. We tried. We didn't last. LoveChoice doesn't judge you. It doesn't tell you love is forever, or that trying again fixes everything. What it shows you is this: love was real, even if it ended. And choosing to remember someone's name—knowing it won't bring them back—is its own kind of courage. I finished the game. I saw her name on the screen. And for a moment, I wasn't sad. I was just grateful that I got to type it at all. Not for the game. For her. And for the version of me who once loved without knowing how to keep.
