A lot of the negative reviews seem to forget that Lucid Cats is being made by a very small dev team, not a massive studio with millions of dollars in funding and hundreds of people working on it. For what it is, this is a genuinely great game with a ton of potential. You can tell there’s a lot of passion behind it, and I’d much rather support a small team trying to build something interesting than write the whole game off because it isn’t perfect immediately. Small development teams need time. Bugs can be fixed, content can be added, and systems can improve as the game grows. If you’re interested in the concept, give the developers a little patience and let them cook. There’s already a lot to like here, and I’m genuinely excited to see where Lucid Cats goes.
Fun Lethal-Company-like! I like the characters, and the dances are fun. Aside from that, the levels are liminal and interesting. And the concept of going to sleep for each mission is very unique! I think we do need more variety of enemies in the game. Most are either "run away" enemies or "don't stop looking at it" enemies. More enemy mechanics would be nice. Same with upgrades, emotes, etc. That being said, game is fun with friends! Lots of silly times were had and for a few hours of fun, the price is solid. Can't wait for furute updates!

After seeing little clips of this game, I knew I needed it when it released; With the cute cat dewds and the spooky looking enemies I was instantly sold. ₍^. .^₎⟆ Things I like about it so far : - Style is very cute - who's camera shy?? - Each enemy has their own way of dealing with them (it's not all run and hope you survive) I like it alot - The proximity chat and meowing makes the constant battle with watching eyes back worth it - Camera system itself is perfect the changed voices, filter, and ability to watch your friends dance from a distance makes it *chefs kiss* - Liminal space esc maps are fun to explore (until they have holes :( ) I do wish there was more going on in them Cons (?) : - I wish map/upgrades were easier to use, something about swapping between the tabs feels clunky ?? - Having 2 different enemies that do the same thing (I think) - Nights go super fast because you have to before more things come to get you. Makes later nights a full blown sprint to hopefully get enough items to meet quota - Love the dancing but idk if I need 5 different dances ? other expressions would be fun Overall, I had fun playing it and so did the people I played with! Definitely looking forward to more enemies, maps, and items being added /ᐠ ˵> ˕ <˵マ
