The first half of the story is really good and makes sense until Selen takes over. And towards the end, the story becomes more intense but also much more illogical. It strays from the world the game carefully builds from the start. And about the puzzles, some are very good, some are too easy, and some are out right nonsense. Recommendation? Somewhat yes. I'll leave a thumb up for your efforts, because the number of games in this genre is low.

If steam had a mixed rating that's probably what I'd give this game, but I lean more positive than negative so I'm recommending this game. The game start off pretty well with an interesting mystery but after that for a very long time the game just becomes super uninteresting. The biggest problem with this game is that it just has random puzzle sections in it throughout. For me, thats a cardinal sin in any detective/mystery game and I absolutely loathe them. It just absolutely kills the pacing and was just tedious to get through. I ended up looking at guides and just speedrunning through them so I could get to the actual deduction bits. The game picks up towards the end again but unfortunately some of the plot twists feel like they come from out of nowhere. Even after the ending, the game doesn't really leave time for proper resolution and leaves you with a cliffhanger thats probably a hook for a sequel. I ended up ranting a lot but I did enjoy my time solving the mysteries. The other issue with the game is with the translation. It started off okay but the quality kinda takes a nosedive towards the end. It kinda got in the way of a few logic segments but wasn't too big of a deal. I think the game could have had better build up by maybe taking some time to actually deduce each individual murder and see how to all unravels step by step rather than just solving it all at the end. All in all I still had a fun time and I wish the puzzles were just completely removed from the game.

A detective game, a bit in the style of Ace Attorney, a bit.. the beginning is promising, the middle part a bit tediuous due to various puzzles, which could have been either more creative or left out. But on the whole.. I can recommend it.

This is a good game. The translation isn't perfect, but they're good enough. The puzzles are difficult without being impossible. I'm looking forward to the sequel.

good game with some obvious flaws. the biggest issue is the translation, not sure about other languages, but the english is kinda ♥♥♥♥, itll dip in and out of being coherent, to making just barely enough sense, near the end i found myself skim reading the dialogue because of this problem, just got tiring filling in the blanks myself but in the same vain the story itself is very interesting, the plot dosent go where you expect it, but its just predictable enough you can make an educated guess at what might happen next, and youll land somewhere near the truth using the stuff you learn along the way, stuff that feels like it was done for the sake of making a game thats not overly complicated dose end up having a valid reason for existing. the puzzles are fun, some of them were ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in my mind, but half the game is full of escape room type puzzles so the good ones usually outweigh the bad ones, all im saying is dont be ashamed to google the answers, theirs a walk-through on youtube, some of the puzzles are obvious but the common sense needed to see the answer is not common lol i did have some performance issues, in specific areas the lag would get bad, but i have some sketchy near death laptop so that might be the issue, all im saying is doom eternal at one point ran seamlessly on this thing so id have expected better performance from a game that's 50% visual novel.
