"super unfriendly... but that's exactly what makes the whole experience worthwhile, am I right?" the demons being so bad in this game that it causes negative reviews is honestly a reflection that demons and fiction have become/remained too sanitized elsewhere SHOULDN'T demons do absolutely horrible stuff at times? many people will be filtered, and that's understandable and to be expected beyond that, the full version is a freeform adventure with even more potentially horrible stuff; basically a game for people who are happier when worlds allow for the consequences of systems to actually occur and play out (as opposed to guns only damaging adults in Fallout games) while many games of this nature from Japan show signs of constrained budgets, etc., and that is also the case here, the devs have clearly crafted something with quality and intelligent design decisions: live2d is used for the character view on the right side of the screen, which is a fairly good use case for that tech (instead of just using it everywhere), and special scenes have UI elements for navigating backward through them even upon first viewing (and they also communicate how close they are to being over) it seems like there's no text log, so the UI for going backward through certain scenes can be helpful it also seems like this is the second title in a series, although it can be played standalone, and it looks like the developer has another title coming shortly NOT for everyone, nor for every society, but initial impressions are that this is a title that refuses to pull punches within fiction (and ironically, the story takes place within the world of a book, so it's "fiction" within fiction) it is very open, very free, has a brutal setting, and it even allows the player to softlock themselves or for major one-way things to occur within a playthrough (there are multiple save slots) on sales, this is a very easy grab for the sort of audience that appreciates Black Souls (although Black Souls goes harder on combat systems; the main similarity is the no-holds-barred state of the setting, just this also has cozy anime guild vibes in addition; actual systems seem more h-skewed, such as in Karryn's Prison (there are entire highly detailed menus about h-status of body parts and h-states/debuffs)); at full price, it's probably also still worth it (but I am only at the beginning myself, so not 100% on that) framerate also seems to affect game logic speed (animations/timers); maybe worth manually limiting FPS to 60 for the intended experience

Magical Girl Konoha is a surprisingly solid and packed adult RPG that offers way more than I expected. It's an open-world turn-based adventure (with ATB combat elements) where you play as Magical Girl, who gets transported into the fantastical Grimoire Land as a magical girl tasked with saving the world. The game has a ton of things to do — tons of dungeons, towns, side events, and exploration freedom that keeps you engaged for hours. The story is genuinely good. The True Ending and the Evil Ending stand out as the absolute best; both feel satisfying in very different ways ;) On the adult side, there are loads of hentai scenes to unlock through various paths, corruption mechanics, and choices. The erotic content is extensive and varied, fitting the magical girl transformation/corruption theme perfectly. The art style isn't the most polished or high-budget out there, but it absolutely does the job — it's functional, consistent, and gets the scenes across effectively without getting in the way of the experience. One unexpected highlight was the blackjack mini-game, which was actually really fun and addictive on its own... Overall, I totally recommend Magical Girl Konoha if you're into cute and funny RPGs with corruption routes, branching stories, and plenty of explicit content. Definitely a must!

It's a bit unpolished here and there, but it's a pretty dang good game overall! The devs put a lot of love into it, and it shows ^_^

Great game. It seems a lot more developed than most games in this genre and you are able to choose the route you wish to take with the option of going the evil route. By more developed I mean the UI, Animations, and story. its not linear in game play, it's open world, there's a housing system where you can decide how you would like your room decorated to a certain degree, there's a few different possible endings, you can even choose to become a devil witch through certain actions which changes gameplay a bit, or you could lose your powers entirely.

I did not play it without the patch installed, so I can not say anything about what the game is like without it. It has a lot of things to do with side-quests and is an open world game. None of the naughty cutscenes are animated, only the naughty battle scenes are animated. Also, one of the cutscenes had a half-censored naughty picture at the beginning of the game (It was Amy at the start of the game, only one of her cutscene's images had mosaic censorship in it and it was only for her body part, not the demon's body part. very weird half-censorship) . The rest of the ones I saw were uncensored, so most or all of the rest should be fully uncensored. It has multiple endings, but I would say two of the other endings are not really worth replaying for as they dont change much at the end (Evil Ending, requires leveling up urself as a Devil Witch for an ending that has the same final boss battles as the good ending as well as some annoying item hunting. Good Ending where u stay vs Good Ending where u go back home change practically nothing as it's just a different boss fight at the end with small dialogue changes) . The battle system is so-so. I didnt really care for it and grinding levels was a lil boring. Especially grinding levels for Lolimon that were only needed for their dumb skills. Reminds me of an overly popular creature collecting game that had that same skill requirement nonsense to reach areas for like a decade of games or so before it was finally removed from newer releases. Also, the battle system is unbalanced for using Rapiers as ur weapon, since u can get to use a skill every other turn with that weapon due to that weapon doing 2, 3, 4 or I think even 5 attacks in 1 normal attack turn depending on which Rapier u have equipped. All of those attacks raise the bar that is needed to allow u to use a skill and u only need 2 or 3 to land for that bar to be full by their next turn. Even after hours of level grinding to level 80+, I did one of the optional boss fights and it took me about 1.5 hours to beat. I didnt pause the game or anything, that boss' hp bar is just that unnecessarily big, lol. All the other bosses for the main storyline were so much weaker. It has a lot of open world content with quite a bit of optional things, but the lackluster battling makes me not want to put this in my top 3 indie rpg anime naughty games. Tunnel Escape, Magical Girl Celesphonia, and Para Ark are currently there. might trade one out for Brave Alchemist Colette or Para Ark 2 after I get far enough into those games, but idk yet. The tldr from me would be, if u dont care about battles being balanced and only want to have a big open-world game with a lot of content, then this game will be good for u. If u want to build some strategy for battles, it's not really necessary and there is no difficulty adjustments, but u will probably be grinding for some of those Lolimon skills depending on what u want to do in the game, so hopefully ur up for a little bit of level grinding.
