The dev's last game, The Monstrous Horror Show, is not required to enjoy this game. However it's very recommended to maximize clapping potential.

I'm not even done with the game and I already have to recommend it. It's a very polished game with great art and a variety of interests covered, it even has content warnings allowing you to skip scenes you may rather not see. I will probably update this review when I finish the game but for now It's worth checking out.

Sakura Gozen is an extremely charming game that is clearly made with love and passion for the medium. The sprite work is excellent and pairs well with the very high quality art. The game also has a wide variety of colorful characters with plenty of humor throughout. It also has a story can only be called an emotional rollercoaster of moments that will leave a lasting impression after you finish, Highly recommend this one. (My game time doesn't properly reflect my time spent with the game I played the dlsite version first, so good I bought it twice!)
