An perfect representation of War in Afghanistan, It's a shame they don't make games that sets in modern day conflicts / real life for singleplayers, The campaign could've been long but. better than Call of Duty Black Ops 7 (which i don't tend to buy BO7 thank god). 8.5/10 Greetings from Mojave Outpost!.

I have played this game a few times since it came out, and even here in 2025 it is still in my top ten. As a former U.S. Navy serviceman, I connect with this one in a way I never have with Call of Duty or Battlefield. Those games are great for spectacle, but Medal of Honor feels real. From the moment it starts, you can tell this game was made with respect. The radio chatter, the way the team moves, the quiet professionalism, it is not about flash or kill counts. It is about brotherhood, the mission, and the cost. The developers worked with actual Tier 1 operators, and you can feel it in every firefight. Nothing feels exaggerated; it feels earned. The campaign is short, but every mission counts. The mountain fights and night raids are some of the most immersive in any military shooter I have played. And that ending is brutal. It stays with you long after the credits roll. It is not cinematic; it is personal. I really wish EA had kept this series going, but they stopped supporting it in favor of Battlefield. That is a shame, because there is nothing else like Medal of Honor. It is a grounded, respectful look at modern warfare, and it still holds up beautifully. If you want a military shooter that feels authentic rather than over the top, this is the one. Respectful, emotional, and real.

This game is based on the real events that took place on takargar. Roberts ridge, the first ever medal of honor recorded, although debatable on if its deserved. The details in this game are truly a master piece. Watch the 3 hour presentation on the anti hero podcast with Delta force operators who lay out how they gathered intel to present the mission set to brass. How the brass completely took over the mission and caused major catastrophes that taken the lives of US special operators. Go watch shreks accounts of tora bora, another D boy. Countless details are extremely accurate to the time period. Jingly trucks, outfits, weapons, characters etc. You wont understand how sick this experience is unless you actually care or like sof operators. To respond to some complaints: You are a soldier carrying out a mission set, what do you expect, do you want to come up with your own version of how the events happen or like what? There were 500-1000 taliban/al quida fighters vs 3 small teams of delta and seal operators. If you were on the ground, it would feel like exactly that, spawning enemy. They littered the mountain range. And our boys were smashing them. next point limited ammo. This isn't cod. This is an effort to bring immersion. They didn't have a lot of ammo. They hiked and rode in miles on quads. Up thousands of feet of elevation and didn't have truck loads of munitions. The Ai is not as bad as you make it sound. They do work. The enemy will shoot you if your not in cover what a shocker. On my second play through I definitely got better and killing the AI with head shots much easier. I would complain that the AI take too many bullets to kill. But I get it its not a sim, and the combat is immersive and light. I Always thought BF3 was the best campaign but when I played this, my mind changed. This is the best campaign of any modern FPS. And with that RIP to the 7 soldiers who lost their lives because of horrible leadership. I highly recommend anyone who loves military stuff to do the research then buy the game at discount.
