Just buy the game. It's so good that I finished it in one sitting without ever feeling bored or tired. The gameplay feels amazing, and the audio design is really well done, especially with its positioning and overall immersion. There are a few minor audio bugs, but I didn't encounter many. The ending also made me cry twice, and I don't cry often. Now let's hope Konami patches Peace Walker to include actual raw mouse input!

MGS 4 is finally free from PS3 jail! Runs smooth, 4k, 60FPS with pretty much instant load times. Feels like it controls better than it did back on the PS3. If you are looking for MGS 4, this is the best way to experience it.

#ThankYouKonami It feels surreal to be writing these words 18 years after the release of my favorite game, and what I consider the greatest entry in the Metal Gear series. For years, I truly believed I would never play this masterpiece anywhere other than the PS3. Back then, the idea of seeing it on PS4 or PC felt impossible. Now, all of that is in the past... Today, MGS4 is finally accessible on PC and modern platforms without having to deal with PS3 limitations, whether it was the audio issues, controller issues, inconsistent performance, or everything else that came with it. Metal Gear Solid 4 has always been more than just a game to me. It's a collection of unforgettable memories and a story that will always have a special place in my heart. A heartfelt thank you to Konami and everyone who worked to preserve and re-release this masterpiece. Special thanks to Naoki Okamura; producer of the Metal Gear series, and Yuji Korekado; programmer of MGS4. MGS4 is peak Metal Gear. Great stealth, satisfying combat, memorable characters, and a completely insane story that somehow pulls everything together. Would’ve loved proper high framerate support, but even so, this is a much nicer experience than the unstable PS3 version. After almost two decades, finally getting to play MGS4 on PC like this is great. The cutscenes are still ridiculously long, but that’s part of the MGS4 experience.
