The Metro series has come a long way. The most immersive game series. Thank you for creating this wonderful universe and allowing us to truly feel the post-apocalyptic theme in our bones. Happy 15th Anniversary.

The action of the post-apocalyptic series of Metro games takes place in a world after a nuclear catastrophe that wiped humanity off the face of the Earth. Only those who managed to hide in underground shelters, as well as in the tunnels of the Moscow metro, survived. The main character of the series is young Artem, living in one of the small settlements. Although the residents have no shortage of water and food, they have to deal with attacks by mutated monsters. Recently, the attacks of these beasts have become more intense, significantly thinning the ranks of defenders. When Artem's father's friend does not return from another expedition, the young man sets off to warn other residents of the metro and find a way to save his home. ✅The biggest advantage of this game is the great atmosphere of a post-apocalyptic adventure in the dark Russian metro ✅Exciting and final fights with monsters ✅Diversity of levels ✅Ability to complete silently or loudly ✅Nice graphics of the destroyed environment ✅Gadgets such as night vision, various types of grenades, ✅Very good sound design ✅Interesting weapons and the ability to upgrade weapons ✅Ruined Moscow looks great ✅Interesting mutants using different tactics ✅A lighter that is supposed to destroy spiders and cobwebs ✅A cool idea of showing tasks with nudity using a "tablet" ✅Interesting currency in the game, and we are talking about military cartridges ✅The price is absolutely fine ✅❌This is a linear game that focuses primarily on the plot and there is no open world, and here everyone has to judge for themselves whether this is an advantage or a disadvantage ❌Low level of intelligence of human opponents ❌Occasional throws to the desktop (At the beginning of the plot, later for unknown reasons the game fixed itself ) ❌In my opinion the game is a bit too short

I think everyone is already familiar with the Metro series, and they are really cool games. However, in my opinion, the first one, which is Metro 2033, truly conveys all the emotions to the player; from fear and anxiety to the sorrow of losing people you care about. I believe it was really fantastic.

I'm still in my first playthrough but I'm really enjoying it, I had multiple crashes while playing the game. This has helped me a lot. If you have a NVIDIA Card: - NVIDIA Control Panel -> click Manage 3d settings -> Threaded Optimization -> ON

Great game, 2033 Redux is a complete overhaul of the original title, adding major AI and game mechanic improvements that actually make stealth possible, while the graphics update gives the game some much needed personality while sacrificing some of the atmosphere and uniqueness the original had. Still, this is an amazing game that is thankfully much more stable and less clunky than the original. I can't recommend getting into this series enough and this is the starting point if you wish to do so. (Note: IF YOU'RE TRYING TO 100% THIS GAME: The "Thief" achievement is bugged, there is one safe on the Outpost level that you can grab the loot without unlocking the safe which wont count towards the achievement. Either be careful when opening it [you can unlock it if your mouse is in a very particular spot] or just use SAM to give it to yourself after getting all the safes.)
