An adorable game with a charming vibe that makes it easy to set your cares down for a little while. The missions come with optional objectives which are fun and engaging to strive for without being stressful. The music is lovely and catchy -- I caught myself humming the tunes when I wasn't playing the game. I did sometimes wish that I could disregard building requirements to construct a street to my preferences as I was doing the missions, so I was drawn to the Creative Mode of Sandbox when I had completed all objectives because it let me do just that! Even after I upgraded my buildings, found all of the perfect recipes, and earned 100% Satisfaction, it was still gratifying to clean up trash, pet cats, and greet cyclists as the denizens of my little slice of street went about their day! I don't have complaints about the game so much as wishes: firstly, for more content -- I'd love an update that gave me more missions to play; secondly, I'd like the ability to toggle services from the Service Center on or off after I've hired them; and thirdly, it'd be nice if the game offered randomized suggestions for the names of buildings for players who might get a little stuck thinking of good ones. I also wouldn't say no to the ability to customize the street itself and buy decorations for it as well...

This game is very cute. You build a little shopping street, and through Mastermind-style logic try and figure out what your customer bases want to buy, and at what price. You'll also need to hunt for hidden tanuki, clean up litter, and eventually pet cats and greet cyclists, so there is a slight clicker element as well. Each building you construct has a small range of color and/or roof options, and most have two ways to upgrade them - either by making them flashier to attract more sales, or by adding greenery to increase the beauty of your street. There are a total of five missions in the game, and the challenge level for each mission feels fair and satisfying - with new buildings, customers, and game mechanics being introduced at a reasonable enough pace to keep things interesting while not overwhelming the player. I know five missions may not seem like a lot, but it truly is just enough to see everything the game has to offer without it becoming too repetitious or overstaying its welcome. I was able to finish every optional objective on the first try. There are also two sandbox modes - one that starts you at base level and lets you slowly grow your street over time, and one that gives you complete creative freedom from the get-go. Unfortunately, there is not quite enough visual variety or gameplay complexity to warrant continuing to play after beating the final mission, so the only real reason to check out either sandbox mode is to set up ideal conditions to easily clear any of your last lingering achievements (which I did for the "manually pick up 300 trash" achieve). The settings menu contains a few useful quality of life options, such as changing the click-townsperson behavior from following to pausing, which really helps. The only minor complaint I have is that the game does get a bit visually cluttered by the end, between the number of people/bikes/cats running around, and how far you have to scroll/pan to see your full street (I had somewhere around 19 or 20 buildings by the end of mission five, and I physically couldn't zoom out far enough to see everything at once). It makes it a little difficult to click on the specific things you want (even though building a service center does help offset the amount of targeted clicking you need to do), and it's another reason why the creative sandbox mode doesn't really work - the game doesn't actually feel designed for large builds. Overall, though, I enjoyed the six hours I put into the game, and feel like I got my $5 worth.

cute and cozy short game with interesting challenges. Adorable art style and ways to tackle different citizens preferences from old to young villagers. Perfecting recipes for each age range can be difficult to achieve. I enjoyed the petting cats aspect of the game to earn extra money as well as picking up trash. I would def recommend this game to someone looking for a bit of a challenge but a cozy affordable cute game!

A cute and relaxing little management game, in which you manage a street. You can play this game with just a mouse, so you can sip some tea while playing. You can choose between a few different kinds of buildings, such as houses, shops and parks. And you have a few options to change how they look. The challenge for a shop is to figure out the perfect recipe or items to sell to please the customers (youth and elderly). If you want to satisfy both, just place another shop! I love that the customers will automatically go to the one they like best. I really like the art style and colour schemes in this game, it fits the cozy vibes perfectly. There are 5 missions (giving 2-4 hrs of playtime) and a sandbox mode. It doesn't contain complex production chains or figuring out the perfect placement for something, it feels very forgiving and chill. It even features an optional little HOG part and cats to pet. Perfect game if you're looking for a little break. I only wish it was longer!

I purchased this game as I was looking for something to escape my grief of losing my little brother. He loved gaming and I needed something to help me escape. It was busy enough it helped me not to think about anything but the game, but not stressful at all. I loved the missions, and you truly can get all of the achievements if you just play slow and steady in the missions and complete the optional objectives. Wonderful cozy game. Thank you to the developers - cute graphics, cozy, a bit of strategy without stress. Would highly recommend if you just want to lose yourself in a game for a little while.
