I have over 70 hours and I love this game! It helps scratch that Minecraft itch because I desperately need to upgrade my pc, but can't afford to atm. It doesn't have a story, it's just a fun little sandbox crafter. I do wish there was some more to it, but I enjoy the heck out of it so I won't complain! Highly recommend. I do have a complaint about the rng tile spawner. I wish it wouldn't go away! I think it's fun to have it populate and then you get something random. I really enjoyed a certain monster that spawns in a certain place (Idk how to do spoilers) and I think it would be cool if there were more of those. Not too many, but here and there they might spawn or you could build a thing to spawn them. There is a monster spawner but I haven't played with it yet, so maybe it does that.

I found this game to be relaxing, chilling and fun. Something to just pass the time with. It's not perfect as I believe there could be a lot more added to this game as what's already included. You can beat this game within a couple of hours but I do like how you can keep on customizing your world afterwards. I bought this game twice, one on Steam and the other on the Switch. I actually beat the game on the Switch and I had a lot of fun doing so. Overall, I love the whole idea of the game, just needs more content to keep this game alive. The creator of MiniLand has already moved on to his next game so we probably won't see any updates for a while. I recommend this game but probably wait for it to go on sale. The price is a little high for everything it offers.

This review is based on 100% completion and 17.9 hours of gameplay. Recommendation: Do I recommend this game? Yeah, this was an okay little game. It's definitely not my style, but it's not bad for what it is. The game is simple to understand, and the way you build the world is intriguing, but I felt that it lacked something in one aspect or another. For a few hours of gameplay, it's not bad, but I don't see myself playing much longer than that, so I'd recommend purchasing this game only during a good sale. Achievements: The achievements in this game are not difficult and can be completed easily; there is only one achievement that will take a long time to obtain, and if you do not want to invest a significant amount of time into the game in order to reach 100 days, there are ways around this. This game has great bones; there's not mountains of content, but what it does have is entertaining. It's tweakable to your own personal level of cozy from challenging to peaceful. I hope to see the dev develop it more.

I really like this game, though I do hope they go back and expand on it some day. The idea is awesome and the graphics are cute! I'm quite excited at the possibilities, especially knowing I have yet to even scratch the surface of what I can do. I see what some of the other reviews are saying about there not being a lot to do, but I feel like they're looking for a different experience than I am. I'm most excited about customizing my world, which will include decorations, the "town", what is planted where, the number of animals, my house(s)/base(s), the layout of the tiles, etc. If you're not super excited to do that in a cute,"minimalistic" way, then I can definitely see why someone might be bored. Me, not so much. I also see the point other reviewers made about a lack of intuitive interface. That said, I was able to sort it all out via trial and error (nothing too tedious) and the guide found in the menu. Could the guide be written better? Sure. Is it so bad it seriously affected my gameplay? Nah. If anything, the trial and error component adds to the gameplay's lack of content (in terms of simplicity, not enjoyability). That said, if I'm into trying to figure out the UI and game mechanics still at 5 hours in, maybe I'm seeking out justification for the lack of content. I think that just goes to show how enchanted I am by what's present, though.
