Played this game years ago on a whim and for some reason it really stuck with me since. I could never remember the name of it so I had no way of being able to find it again until recently when i stumbled across a game on playstation that gave me a similar feeling to when I'd played this one. I decided to look up the developers and found that it was the same team that had made this game. coming back and playing it again seven years later I've found that i still feel such a connection to the art style, characters, and overall feel of the game. I truly think it's something special.
NOTE: This game will possibly make you cry and think about all of the relationships you have in your life lol. So peaceful and...Not really what I'd call a soap opera. It talks a lot about death, loss, creation, but also whimsical mystery. It's a relaxing gardening game, yes, but really it's just a story of the people on this island who all face their own challenges in life. Which...Is very relatable. We've all got something! It's just real life dressed up as mutants. There's an element of a natural / ecological disaster that, 5 hours into the game, is still a mystery to me. But I love the soundscape, writing, characters, and the way the game makes me feel. Can't wait to finish it!
