Demons, Zombies, Vampires, Dragons, Werewolfs, sexy rabid nurses - everything you could ever possibly want from an historically accurate WWI shooter. Absolute peek Euro-jank dollar store Doom knock-off fun. It was a refreshing change to be able to finally play as the good guys for once in a world war game, I learnt a lot about the injustice of the conflict from the heroic German perspective thanks to this game. But a warning that your journey into the bowls of hell will eventually force you to confront the most horrifying inconceivable realisation - This 15 year old budget game has better voice acting and dialogue then most recent so called triple A modern games.

Fast-paced FPS + WW1 + Horror + Fantasy + Dark ambiance = Pretty solid game apparently Somehow it still holds up even today, it hasnt aged so badly compared to other games from the 2010s

Corny and cheesy in all the best ways. It's a bit of a janky game, but its completely playable.

A condensed version of the original game. The perfect dose of frenetic action. A little janky but nothing that ruins the enjoyment. Great bosses and cool new enemies.

Melee combat feels awful, hitboxes are probably inconsistent, random objects can send you flying, your rockets have massive knockback on enemies but it appears that they actually pull the player character towards the explosion or at least downwards, you can get stuck on, in (?), next to and possibly under(?) enemies and some bossfights seem to involve quite a lot of luck. Despite this (or, in some situations, because of this) I have had more fun with this janky trainwreck than with most other singleplayer games I've played. This, just like the main game, is a perfect storm of strange, sometimes ambitious ideas, bugs and likely many compromises in the developement and writing process. The clash between gameplay and story, as well as tonal clashes within the story, are a sight to behold. There were several instances where it felt like the comedic timing was intended, but more moments where it felt too good for anyone to come up with on purpose. This game might not be for everyone, but I'm sure some people with a similar sense of humor will have a blast. 10/10 Also I'm pretty sure adding "+dx9" in the launch options makes both games run better under windows 10. The game didn't crash once.
