The concept is pretty fun, could it have been executed better? Probably, but I definitely enjoyed the short time I had with this game. As other reviews have said, the time given for some words seem excessive, while others seem way too short. Some words you'll get about 8 seconds for even though it is a 4 letter word. Yet, somehow, a ten letter word will have less time than even that. And phrases that count for double points all seem to have the same time limit. Which would be fine if they didn't vary so heavily. Like the phrases "don't like, don't read" and "allyourbasearebelongtous" both have the same time limit despite having a vast difference in characters. You don't have to do spaces or punctuation for these, but even then, it can feel more like a struggle to keep your points high enough to get S rank just because of the longer phrases out there. It does feel pretty rewarding getting through it, the short 3 levels that are there anyway. There are levels for different languages, but it is understandably harder to keep up with since you don't get a proper preview of what you're typing if it is being presented with Japanese or Chinese characters. Still, a nice addition to the game if you want more of it. Shockingly, majority of my playtime wasn't actually playing the main game. Once you get through the 3 levels, you'll be given the access to an entirely separate game that is actually a good deal of fun. And it isn't even like a minigame that it unlocks, you would probably spend more time on this bonus game more than you would be typing. It is not terribly complicated or intricate, but there are a good handful of levels with variety that I found myself enjoyment from. And you get more of your arsenal revealed to you throughout those levels, so it never felt stale to me. Enemy diversity is lacking, but the boss fights at the end of those levels weren't bad at all. I honestly don't think I would recommend this game for the price of it was only one of the games in it, typing or the bonus game. Still a little pricey for the time you get, but I think you get enough time with it to find some level of enjoyment. And hey! Maybe you even improved your typing with it!
