The main feature of this game that separates it from other survivor-like or horde autoshooter games is that after selecting upgrades you can, at any time, modify how they interact with each other via the programming tree. It makes for a much less mindless experience than most of the genre, although at some point you start to figure out how which upgrades connect best and picking/connecting upgrades becomes more automatic. Think of it as sort of an extra dimension on upgrading. It also has the slight variation that you get permanent-upgrade money by actively hacking chips (standing over them for X amount of time) in the levels, a thing you have to consciously focus on doing. Just playing levels without hacking the chips doesn't automatically give you points for permanent upgrades. Other than these and catchy music it's a pretty basic game. Solid recommend for these gameplay variations, though - they're creative and work well.

TL:DR: Well balanced, very good performance, fun to play. A bit more content would be great, can recommend Okay listen. I had a **** load of hours during the beta phase. Tried speedruns, pacifist runs and every other way to break the game as much as possible. Of course I tried the same in early access. After now finishing both maps on all 4 characters (yes four. One is hidden. Well hidden. Meanly hidden and I love it.) on highest difficulty, I can say that this got the potential to become the best game of the genre. It's performance has inproved by a landslide, the balancing is very good (eventhough speedruns will be a lot harder. I know you did that on purpose, Devs >.<) and it's fun to play. I'm waiting for more content in the future, but that's how early access works, I suppose. Thanks for the game, guys. Wish you the best.

With over 100 hours in the demo alone, I foresee this game being one of my go to pass times. The node based attack construction feels unique in the Survivors-like space, and nothing feels overly useless. Really, really fun game.

Very unique experience. The ability to customize your attacks lets you tailor create some absurd combinations! Played the demo quite a bit, happy to see it in Early Access and can't wait to see what the future brings!
