I came for the achievements. I stayed because a glowing stickman went on a spiritual journey. Omno is one of those games that quietly sneaks up on you. No guns. No enemies trying to ruin your day. No 47-hour tutorial. Just you, a mysterious little traveler, and a world that looks like it was painted by someone who desperately needed a vacation. The movement feels great, the environments are gorgeous, and the soundtrack has absolutely no business being this good. And then you meet the animals. You will stop progressing through the story just to run around looking at them like an idiot. Would I recommend it? Yes. Did I expect to get emotionally attached to a glowing stick? No. Did I anyway? Unfortunately. ⭐ Beautiful ⭐ Chill ⭐ Great soundtrack ⭐ Fun exploration ⭐ No unnecessary suffering 10/10 — would follow the glowing stick again.
This is a really impressive first game, especially from a solo developer! The gameplay is responsive and not too clunky. The graphics are pretty and visually stunning in so many places! I really enjoyed the world and there was clearly passion put into the creatures and environments! I love that abilities you pick up throughout and how they add to the experience! Really neat little game, gotta say!
Очень добрая, симпатичная, занимательная, и трогательная игра. Мы просыпаемся в некоем причудливом мире, берём первое, что попалось под руку, и начинаем путь. Весьма быстро выясняется, что под руку нам попался волшебный посох, способный проводить силу света. Пока он для нас просто палка для опоры, но очень быстро становится инструментом оживления древних руин, средством сбора частичек света с местных флоры и фауны, а со временем с его помощью можно будет парить над землёй, замедлять падение, и даже телепортироваться, цепляясь за специальные сооружения. Эти возможности открываются постепенно, и только к последнему эпизоду удастся скомбинировать их все. Вскоре в пути нам встречается парящая зелёная котобелка. В начале она нас пугается, но с каждой новой локацией всё больше проникается к нам доверием. Примечательно, что белка, как и наш человечек, в этом мире подобных себе не имеет, и если для всех остальных существ есть коротенькая запись в журнале, то что такое наш парящий кот - мы не знаем. Так же довольно быстро выясняется, что идём мы не просто так, а повторяем путь некоего пилигрима, следовавшего некоторое время назад к вратам, ведущим к чистому свету. По пути нам попадаются его короткие записки, в которых он размышляет о своём пути и своей вере. Вот так вот мы и идём по этому чудному миру, любуемся красотами, лазаем по руинам, прыгаем по развалинам, летаем на посохе, докапываемся до зверушек, решаем простые головоломки, и восстанавливаем дорогу к свету. В конце истории перед нашим героем встанет непростой выбор, но он всё сделает правильно. Несмотря на неблагозвучное для русского уха название, это великолепная игра.
