Although laggy on my laptop, this game is great and has very customizable sandbox settings. This game is the perfect game for me, who likes base building games like JWE2, planet coaster, etc., but also love the millitary.

I really enjoy this game, it doesn't take itself too seriously it has a nice 'risk' element to it with the battle map and its combat, the transition between the main base camp and the battle map is nice and slick and the more I played the more quality of life features I came to realise the game actually has. (And they're not all hidden behind the research tree) Some QoL stuff you might have figure out through playing the game to know its there, check the controls in the menu by all means if you're unsure. I saw one review complaining about a lack of automation with the repairing and restocking which is completely false, you can't have them automated from the start that's just something that comes along after researching for the first upgrade for the respective building (regarding the restocking) and as for the lack of automated repairs? I didn't quite understand because that's what the engineering facility is for, that you start with - which allows more to be stationed at it at tier 2 and tier 3. Tier 1 allows for either 2 or 3 engineers, so, the bigger your military camp the more you'll need. Really not sure what that other review was about, maybe they couldn't figure out how to manage which engineers should be awake during the day and which should be awake during the night? I don't think I ever had to manually repair a building. This game felt like a Military version of the game The Movies by Lionhead Studios. So if you liked The Movies by Lionhead Studios, you'll enjoy wrapping your head around this game. When the drones start attacking you and you're unprepared, it really can take you by surprise so watch out for that and get the Anti-Drone defences at least unlocked before they start attacking you otherwise they'll really ruin your day. You can't send drones at the enemy, but that's because your force and you aren't cowards that hide behind drones. If you like games like Evil Genius 2 or The Movies, you'll (hopefully) enjoy this game as well. This game is way above most mobile games and I've certainly played worse PC Games than this one, give it a chance, its nice and colourful too and feels rewarding where it counts. This game is robust and runs really well too, so you shouldn't have any hangups in this game which I find crucial in a game like this where a crash could ruin your day more than a surprise drone attack. It can feel somewhat samey at times, but so can a lot of sim games, you're only partially limited by your own creativity.

One Military Camp offers a fresh take on military base management with a focus on strategy, resource allocation, and defense. It’s a sandbox-style simulation where you build and oversee a military camp, balancing the demands of construction, troop training, and defense against external threats. The core loop is simple but engaging: start with a modest camp and expand your facilities to support more soldiers, vehicles, and equipment. You’ll manage resources carefully—food, fuel, materials—and make strategic decisions about base layout and defense placements. The game shines in its tactical depth. You don’t just build; you also prepare your troops for waves of enemy attacks. Positioning units, upgrading defenses, and choosing when to go on the offensive are all critical. The game encourages planning and adaptability, rewarding careful thinking over brute force. The graphics are clean and functional, focusing on clarity rather than flashy effects. The top-down view offers a good perspective of your base and battlefield. The UI is intuitive, though newcomers might find the array of menus and options a bit overwhelming at first. One Military Camp features various scenarios and increasing difficulty levels that test your strategic skills. The open-ended sandbox mode lets you experiment freely, building and defending your camp as you see fit. Though the gameplay can feel repetitive over extended sessions, the challenge of balancing growth and defense keeps you engaged. It’s a solid choice for fans of tactical management and military strategy. Pros: -Deep strategic and tactical gameplay -Flexible base building and resource management -Challenging enemy waves and defense planning -Clean visuals and functional UI Cons: -Can be overwhelming for beginners -Some repetitive gameplay elements -Lacks narrative depth or varied mission types One Military Camp is a rewarding strategy game for players who enjoy building and defending their own military outposts. It may not reinvent the wheel, but its combination of base management and tactical defense creates an absorbing experience that’s well worth exploring. Rating: 7/10

One Military Camp is a fun base management game similar to Evil Genius. Like Evil Genius, there is a lot of micro-management. If you find that sort of thing to be tedious you should steer clear. Otherwise, the campaign took me around 13.5 hours and I enjoyed my time with it. It's a quality game and I experienced no bugs or crashes in my time with it. It's an easy recommend for me.

Good competent base management game. It's plays basically like a reverse evil genius. Your nation has been invaded by a comic villain and you have to take it back. Build your base, upgrade your minions and send them on missions. Nothing revolutionary but solid, good stuff.
