Overall Onward is a great game in my opinion. Is it lacking in areas - yes, however it has many great features other VR shooters dont do the same way. The PvE content is pretty fun - drop in with some friends or solo and battle an onslought of enemies - gets a thumbs up from me. I think the online modes struggle with the lower player count, however I think the game doesnt deserve all the criticism it gets, and if people gave it another try they would have vastly different opinions.

So I have had this game for well years. I initially played it and was pushed away by the influx of quest 8 year olds making it impossible to do anything and the mechanics being a bit scuffed and annoying. I just played now with a friend and wow this game has had an upgrade. It looks pretty good honestly, not amazing but on par with pavlov vr. Sounds quite nice, damage effects are good, gunplay is alright (im not a fan of how you take mags out, pavlov defo does it better) but overall I had a really good time. Me and a friend played coop pve for a couple hours and it was good, ai seemed balanced and were remarkably somewhat coordinated. Overall I reccomend! I think people need to give this game more of a chance. It doesent look like every unreal engine tech demo ever but I dont think thats really the point. The optics and night vision look good and the game generally I think is quite enjoyable.

Its been a while since I played Onward, i used to play it when it first came out on Meta and I remember the graphics weren't the best but there was effort put into the game that made it the way it was, but coming back and seeing the new maps and seeing old ones come back but better was exciting and seeing that ladders were now usable is amazing, I hope that more updates keep coming and I hope one day we could get some type of vehicles in the future.

Honestly the game has to have be the greatest PVP game on vr, Fast TTK, Decently realistic weapons, One of the best VRML games to watch Community isn't much to speak for.

i love the game but it sucks that they got rid of 1.7 that was the best version the guns noises where good the ai the diffrent characters and sights where a little diffrent and the walking was perfect
