This game is truly amazing! I've been playing for years and it always manages to surprise me. The level designs, the Bosses, the Character designs, the Skins, the Devs... I 100% recommend! Specially because of the Devs, they're really kind, polite and they update the game frequently. You will never feel like you are playing a "dead game".

Too many people complaining about the mobile cross-saving not being a thing, throwing this game into mixed reviews for only that. I mean they're right, but this game doesn't deserve anything less than mostly possitive reviews. THE BAD: -The deluxe edition is kind of a scam since they only include the characters that you can actually unlock for free instead of some premium ones. -Most characters are not in free rotation EVER, and if you want them, you have to buy them with real money. -The red gems are literally useless once you bought everything from the cat. -There are some bugs concerning AI partners. Mostly they multiply everytime you (for example) place a turret with Oli. -They don't give you close to enough free universal pieces for it to feel rewarding, realistically you'd need about a year to unlock one of the strong characters (since battle pass lasts for multiple months, giving you 6 pieces in total and there's no other way to get them for free), which is insane. -Coop is only online. THE GOOD: -I like the microtransactions here cause they're actually MICRO transactions, for example the battle pass is 3€, and gives you enough for a character and 3-4 skins. The club membership is 1,5€, and they give you a lot of stuff. The ammount of consumables they you can get for such a low price is how things should be done, and also the fact it works offline reassures me it won't die even when they stop working on it. -A lot of variety in abilities to choose. -A lot of variety in characters and their mechanics. -Up to 4 player coop (Online). -Lots of replayability. -Lots of challenges. -Some unlockables through events and discovery (mainly one character, at least 2 skins and a bunch of objects). -Beautiful art and animation. -Fitting, iconic music. -Very addictive gameplay loop. -Devs actually reach out to you quickly when you have a problem. Quick note: They don't tell you but buying the base game also gives you a couple of chars not available in the free version, which is nice I guess. SCORE: 8/10 TLDR: It's like The Binding Isaac but instead of focusing on object synergies (which there are a lot anyway) and map leingth, they focus on the uniqueness of every character.
