Very unrated. I played it at launch on Gamepass for Free. Finished the campaign once. I enjoyed it. Now, they added all kinds of new things. Complete edition for just $20 buck . I'm really enjoying the second play through. It run great on my system. 3080 and 5700x3d.

Oh Outriders where do i start is it fun? YES, is the story good? YES, is the fighting fluid and feel good? um YES. did this game launch when we needed it the most? absolutely. I put over 100 hrs. in this baby and i go back occasionally just to rip shit up. is it fun to play with friends? YES, is it fun to play by yourself? YES. all in all this game is fun and will hold your tiktok attention span. Buy it!

This game is a gem. The game was ridden with issues on launch and it was simply not ok to release a game in that state. Let's put that aside and look at the actual gameplay. This is a looter shooter with a strong RPG emphasis. You choose a class, have skills and a talent tree. The gunplay feels amazing and the general feeling of the game is great. Although you could draw a parallell with Borderlands, I'd instead say that this is much more similar to an ARPG like Diablo since it's much more heavy on the RPG part then Borderlands. If you like to theory craft and make builds, you'll feel right at home here. If you're here solely for the gunplay action and you don't care about min-maxing builds then looks elsewhere. This confusion is probably the reason for the mixed review. The story is good and I love that they even spent time on cutscenes for side quests. All quests feel well crafted. The gameplay loop is very repetitive. You enter an area, clear it, move to next area. Repeat. I played it with friends, so we did not mind at all given how well the combat feels. I have a couple of hours of solo play, although most of my time is coop with friends. I don't recommend getting the game solely for solo play.

I played this in 2024 on a PC, so now idea how it launched, somehow it flew under my radar, i had a blast with it, especially with the monster hunts and bounties, the story is good enough, the characters are likable, hope there is a sequel in the oven for this game.
