Not the typical game with lots of jumpscares or being chased by scary monsters, but more of a tense atmosphere as if all our actions are being judged by an otherworldly entity. Creepy, tense, and there are tons of branching endings. 10/10 game.

So far, what I really love about this game is the atmosphere. As a horror game enthusiast, i really enjoyed the ghost (the white lady) messing around with you. This game is one of the good ways if you want to learn about the Indonesian folklore, learning about the taboos, dos and don'ts, creates a good introduction towards the Indonesian culture. Now about the game, the game is enjoyable for the first few playthroughs but as you have done so enough times the game becomes repetitive and you might end up getting the same ending over and over again. plus the tasks in the game are the same all the time so you might find it tedious too, also due to the lack of clear instructions the game becomes frustrating at times and you have to search and roam around the same place for quite a while. After nearly about 4 hrs of gameplay, i began to find the game boring and repetitive. in the end the game is like telling you to get access to multiple endings if you do what the game doesn't want you to do. You just have to tease the ghost or break the taboos to move on which is kinda funny but in game scary at the same time. Despite all of this the game manages to respect the Indonesian culture and has no means to disrespects in anyways and can be taken as a scary educational series if you are interested in the Indonesian folklore. But after a while, you might want to pull away as there is nothing new to do and the game is tedious. Nevertheless it is a really nicely done indie title and it really scared me, i had to think before moving or even interacting with some objects. I personally found the lore and story telling of the game to be very interesting and the best part the ATMOSPHERE. So yeah, I recommend the game if you want to experience the Asian horror because the atmosphere of the game is worth it, but the game is repetitive and the mechanics of the game don't hold much scope for the constant replayability.

I very much like this game and its episodes (with the exception of the last one...), it's a quite interesting premise to go over multiple stories while dealing with creatures/ghosts from folklore, learning about customs and seeing different outcomes. However, a criticism I have is that while it is fun to experience each story maybe one, two or three times... getting every single ending is quite the chore due to them needing quite minuscule difference in actions between each other for endings that are pretty much just variations of each other. Some endings could've easily been condensed into one... or maybe just not have an achievement for every single variation. BUT, if you're not like me who cares about getting achievements, then this won't be a problem for you. Go out there and experience the game, try new things and explore each chapter, have fun!

i adore this game, even if it is buggy sometimes, there is something about the vibes that hits. it does not rely on jumpscares like most horror games to get the job done. the sounds alone are scary enough. i hope that they bring out more DLC in the future. highly recommend this game.

A pretty bizarre horror game that will get you on your toes each time you do even the most meaningless thing while interracting with the world.
