I don't think that I have ever written a review, but felt inclined to do so here. I was really hesitant to buy this game, given all of the VC "Pay to win" talk. I will admit, it is frustrating to see people be able to buy their attributes quickly but based on these reviews I thought it would take WAY longer to progress. I am 50 hours into the game, 90 overall after even spending VC on outfits etc.. Play through MyCareer, do the quests, the VC will come and the locker drops are good. This is honestly such a GREAT game, have not had this much fun in a while completely worth the ridiculous price games cost now - dont be scared away by the mixed reviews love what they did with this game!

took ~90 hours to get a 99 with no money spent, which is a while, but had a blast getting there. Also, you dont need to be a 99 to feel good/compete, an 85 compared to a 99 is not that different since you skill up the most important things first so last 10 levels feels like you just putting stats in things that you dont care about. Gameplay is king and the gameplay here is great

Game plays really well. The programmers did wonderful. As for the suits at 2K making the decisions on VC earned, F*** yourself. Having early access players and streamers making the VC drops look great and then as soon as the game comes out nerfing it into the ground is so slimy. I expected nothing less from 2K. Fun game, sucks they try to get you to spend more money on top of the SEVENTY DOLLARS you already spent on a game that will more than likely release again in the next year or two. Corporate greed as per usual. TLDR: Fun game. Greedy company. What's new.

Absolutely loving the game so far. However, as others say, HB Studios/2K have reduced the VC earned by playing the game in an effort to increase profits with purchasable VC packs. My message to the devs and publisher: Respect your players and the money will come. Don't choose short-term profits over long-term support and trust.

I try to name my character Tucker. "this name violates our profanity filter". Okay? I use Tuck, and that's fine. My first round I play against an NPC named Tucker. Cool. 10/10 game I guess.
