i really dig the story, the art, the tactical possibilities. it scratches a FF itch for me. is it perfect yet? no really. there are bugs (don't understand negative reviews because of that, it is EA after all...) and some suboptimal design choices (like exp distribution, some UI issues, balancing in general), but those devs watch closely and are fast to correct, so i'm very positive this will become a gem when released.
Very good game, the future should hold well if they keep working on it. Art style very reminiscent of Darkest Dungeon, Don't Starve Together and a few other steam games. But is still very unique. Gameplay is similar to FF Tactics, but looks way better and more modern. If you like turned based tactics you'll like this game
I hope the developers see this review because I have a suggestions to make. So far I love the game and can't wait for a full release (my favorite character is Sade) but If I would add anything I would add in a way to change your characters skill tree/points while in the battle prep phase of fights because sometimes I will be in a fight and then decide that I want a different ability or play style for my character but I can't change my characters ability's because I'm in the combat prep phase. I find that this effects the battle challenges the most because I can't see the challenges before hand and sometimes they are made way harder by the fact that I don't have certain ability's or stats on my characters. Like I was just doing this mission where the only person on my team was Sade and The challenges were to beat the ritual in less then 10 turns and to not let Sade get any status effects but the problem was that I was going full support Sade and so I did not have a lot of damage and that made that challenge even harder because I could not kill all the enemy's as fast as I could. I just want a way to change stats and skills in the battle prep phase. On another note I believe I found a bug for I beat that fight in 9 turns and yet I did not complete the challenge to win the fight in 10 turns or less and things like that have happened to me multiple times where challenges wont be counted even if I do complete them. I believe in you guys and that you can make this great game even better, I will continue to enjoy it and can't wait to see more Edit: I forgot to mention that It would be nice if you added a way to level characters out side of combat so that you can keep all of your characters at around the same level for when you want to use them. This would be nice because if there is going to be 20+ characters if one wants to keep them all at around the same level they will have to juggle all of the characters in and out of their team every fight and at a certain point that can just be exhausting Edit: I just encountered a bug when fighting rayder where his attacks have the names HD-Deslizar-con-dolor-Rayder boss, and they don't tell me what they do
