i like the game but it has some problems that i see. 1. the fact you can only play as Chinese and not any other race, in my opinion is boring i feel like the game should allow other races to be playable. 2. religion it would nice to customize the religion and culture your group starts with, like changing the name of the gods they believe in or what do they value, or if they do sacrifices or not. those thing could make it a bit more interesting. 3. being able to choose what someone is going to wear or what tool they are going to use, cause i make different classes when i play games like this and usually do it based with the clothes they wear rather then title or names, it makes it easier to do the class system. 4. custom starts where the player can choose what is given, how many people, and the Harvestable resources at the start of each game. 5. and finally add workshop.

The game is a lot of fun and I did enjoy myself when playing it. From watching children growing up through the stages of life, to establishing big settlements. I also enjoyed the combat. The game makes it pretty easy to grab your villagers and establish a defensive line on the walls. The research in this game, I think could be a bit better, or if your combat oriented, allow for me to steal weapons and study upon them to further my tribe. Anipals are such a huge help. If you get a handful of mammoths, you can easily roll through AI as they are extremely powerful and don't require much food. I did feel that cooking in this game could be better/ and or reworked. Like why create better food, when it requires so much food to make. If I made a basic food dish, it would turn 8 meat into 10 food dish's in a short time. So there was no reason not to cook basic food dishes. On the other hand, you could make exotic food dishes for better stats to your people, however it requires 30 meats and I feel that is way to much for only 10 dishes and you will soon learn that you have no food and spend more time struggling to get food from farms or hunting than doing things outside that. Just felt more like a waste of time unless you had a very small tribe, but I quickly got to 220 tribes men through buying slaves/ or fighting other nations and enslaving their people. So time management is a must when they slowing grow bigger and they have their own research tree to unlock weapons. I do like that they will build part of a castle once they start getting bigger, I just would like to see a full castle and do a full on raid. I do understand that once you start getting big like that, it does bog down the computer a little bit. Also, this game is very well made, like, I did not receive any crashes, and when I would sometimes get a warning sign that something isn't working properly in the top right of the screen, the game would quickly fix itself.

This is what I wish city builder games would be more like. You can take control of citizens but otherwise they are largely self automated.

It's a lot to take in initially, but this is a WILD game. I come from RTS and a limited experience with games like Frostpunk. The concept caught my eye, and there is a lot of granularity which I slowly found myself beginning to appreciate. Unlike other games though, this feels like a true 'society engine' and I'm curious to see where they go as the game gets updated towards 1.0. I do have a few specific pieces of feedback regarding tutorials and loading for which I've reached out directly.
