This game is quite an enjoyable colony builder. Its just like any other colony builder but has its own unique twists in the game. Something different is that you came tame "anipals" which will help you develop your village alongside their designated companion. The new beta update expanded the game greatly which brought some much needed life back to the game. The graphics may not look as clean but it definitely helps the game play in the late game. I can scale to a rather large village without bogging down my computer loading in all the extra assets and such compared to the previous updates. I'm a bit of a veteran in these kind of games, so the difficulty even on the hardest setting is a bit lack luster. I have talked to others and the difficulty seems balanced for 95% of people. What I would like to see is a bit more aggression from the far western tribes. One issue I do find to be prevalent is the issue of moral. There is no real way to boost your moral above 50 to improve your work force performance, but tons of ways to lose moral. I think the bonuses to moral need to be larger for having nice beds, good rooms, good clothes and good food. All of these moral buffs that already are there seem to be very miniscule leaving me very close to 50 but never above. The only time I have seen my moral above 50 is when the villagers are in the act of "increasing" the population. Overall I recommend the game, its a nice relaxing take of colony simulators based in primitive times.

It's a lot to take in initially, but this is a WILD game. I come from RTS and a limited experience with games like Frostpunk. The concept caught my eye, and there is a lot of granularity which I slowly found myself beginning to appreciate. Unlike other games though, this feels like a true 'society engine' and I'm curious to see where they go as the game gets updated towards 1.0. I do have a few specific pieces of feedback regarding tutorials and loading for which I've reached out directly.

I have already committed almost 40 hours and I love all of the detail to the game. I enjoy the four seasons and how the access to resources changes throughout to match. The family tree is a really cool aspect to the game and I like to watch who marries who and how the children carry on characteristics of their parents. The mentorship tab is also really cool as you watch the skills grow throughout time when your villagers record their knowledge. There are so many aspects of that game that I am busy all the time growing and expanding or just watching the sheep and foraging. I have really enjoyed playing!

The 'Steam' algorithm suggest's games, to me. I do not even play, or like the suggestions. I often find myself clicking and pointing, to whatever. This game, is a 'Gem' I found. I had too do a manual search, of pointing and clicking. This game has been out, for years. My lack, of my knowledge! Steam store really needs, to make, an overhaul. I didn't even wait, for it to go on sale. I bought it outright! I saw Gamer's, on YouTube play it and was impressed. This is a very different game and has a lot hours, of fun.
