Well ........ to begin with, this was one of my childhood favourites. Back then I completed this game about 3-5 times or so. There's nothing to not like about the game. Every camera angle, every interactive button works for what is to come. I played this after about 10 years and on the hardest setting. The traps, puzzles, historical design and absolute cinema of a story just makes me wonder how long did it take for them to research and design this game. Regardless I'll forever love and cherish this game franchise. A big thanks to the developers. Love y'all. PS: Perhaps its time for a remake of this game ......... that will attract more players with better graphics. Dont change the storyline tho.

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones feels like a proper middle ground between Sands of Time and Warrior Within. The Prince’s character is closer to the first game, while the combat keeps the same combos and kill animations from Warrior Within, though noticeably censored with the gore removed. This isn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s obvious if you’re used to the previous entry. The speed kill system is a great addition and keeps the pacing tight, giving you the option to get through combat quickly and back to the excellent platforming. Aside from the narrator (who is painfully flat and nothing like the iconic Sands of Time narration), the rest of the dialogue is surprisingly strong. On PC, a few tweaks are needed. I had to set the special effects to low to fix the insane bloom, turn shadows off to avoid the Prince’s green shadow, and disable anti-aliasing to stop water rendering through walls. And like with the rest of the trilogy, a simple widescreen fix makes it play very well on the Steam Deck. This was the entry I played the most growing up, and despite a few quirks, it’s still a very enjoyable finale to the trilogy.

A fast-paced entry that tries to recapture the series' original mood. It may not fully nail the balance between grace and brutality, but it builds to a tense, fitting finale.

The third part the finale of the story takes the Warrior Within formula but drops the edgy tone but there’s a twist the game has this Joker Prince who’s constantly cracking jokes and dropping sharp one liners They ditched the Metroidvania structure and went back to the linearity of Sands of Time which for me personally is a huge plus. Combat got more variety thanks to the Dark Prince adding a bit of a God of War vibe. Boss fights are best in the series no question They added stealth and I used it whenever possible because it’s done so nice, it's simple yet satisfying. Parkour is mostly the same except for the Dark Prince sections with new chain mechanics which are insanely fun to play. The Dark Prince is a bullseye overall not too much of him but not too little either The game became more cinematic and I loved the "chariot" levels . Story wise I think this is the best in the series. The Prince’s growth is shown perfectly and he’s portrayed with way more depth. There is not a single unnecessary cutscene, not a single wasted line of dialogue and that ending calling back to the very start of the first game closing the cycle perfectly. “Sit down, and I will tell you a tale like none that you have ever heard”

Coming back to Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones after all these years was like unlocking a treasured memory. Back then, its daring acrobatics, gripping narrative, and unforgettable boss fights ignited my passion for gaming. Revisiting it now reminded me why it was such a defining part of my childhood—it wasn’t just a game, it was the adventure that shaped the gamer I became. One of the goats for sure
