Mechanics work, ghosts are fun (besides one, he know who he is) and spooky, RPG mechanics set it apart from the others in this genre. Highly recommend if you want to explore and get scared with your friend. Plus, there's a cute dog!

​A Terrifying and Refreshing Take on Co-op Horror ​Project Unknown is, without a doubt, the scariest game I have ever played. While other games like Demonologist and Phasmophobia have their moments, they have nothing on the sheer fear factor this game delivers. Despite the blood-curdling screams it causes me to let out, I absolutely love it. The fact that this is only the beta version makes the future of this game highly exciting. ​The core gameplay loop is a refreshing change of pace. Instead of chasing down ghosts, your main objective is to find cursed objects while actively avoiding the ghosts. This creates a constant sense of dread and tension that is masterfully executed. ​The game also stands out with its unique playable characters. Each of the four characters has a different set of special perks, which adds a fantastic layer of strategy to each mission. I personally enjoy playing as either Luther or Eirene, finding their specific abilities to be a great asset. ​From the chilling jump scares to the stunning visuals, every detail of the game is impressive. The level design is particularly noteworthy—the developers even made a boat level! The variety of tools at your disposal is also extensive, with many that I haven't seen in other ghost-hunting games. ​If you are a fan of horror games like Demonologist or Phasmophobia, you absolutely have to give Project Unknown a try. I am incredibly impressed with this beta version, and my one request for future updates would be for more levels to explore the terrifying world they've built.

I like it because unlike phasmo there is more fighting back to it with a skill tree. On top of that multiple reasons to try new characters. It def needs some events, cosmetics and achievements which the devs have spoke on. I just wanna see it grow more and maybe more insightful community to find people. Phasmo was very pair with randoms or come in a group and never a way to dive into the community outside of tha.

RPG ghost exorcising with deep impactful game mechanics and an extremely steep learning curve. What more could you ask for? This is NOT phasmo and this is NOT an easy game. Be patient and cautious as you learn all that you can about each of the 4 characters, the minighosts, the main ghosts, and how best to use your equipment to survive and successfully exorcise the ghost. Do you have what it takes to be on the toughest exorcist team yet???
