It's very hard to argue with the current 3.30€ pricetag. There's definitely more than enough in the game for the price. However, there are some things I think worth noting: Early access, really...? The game is still in early access, 5 whole years after its initial release. The EA roadmap says the end of early access should be early 2023, and uhhhhh, idk maybe I fell in a time hole but we're long past 2023. Controls First thing that immediately shocked me when I started the game: The game doesn't use physical key locations for keybinds. This means nothing for people with a QWERTY keyboard, but for people like me (an AZERTY keyboard in my case) with a different keyboard layout, this meant that the controls didn't work out of the box. For the record, supporting different keyboard layouts is a singular checkbox or line of code in most engines. Now you may think "well it doesn't matter much, you can rebind the controls and never worry about it ever again" except no actually, because you cannot rebind *all* controls. For instance, the free camera movement controls are hardcoded, they do not use the same keybinds as the regular movement controls and cannot be changed. This game came out 5 years ago. Other nitpick I have is that the controls to switch items are horrendous. I've actually opted to not switch items because it's that unintuitive and you cannot move while switching items. I understand the concept of nesting variations of an item within the same keybind, but: - Either you make switching seemless, the mouse wheel for instance is unused since there is no weapon switching. - Or you have separate keybinds for all item variations. You can in fact do that, there's only a handful of items, they'd all fit on the top numbers row. Bugs The game is wonky, particularly lobby settings. Sometimes the lobby settings don't apply. Sometimes the game refuses to change maps. Changing the rules mid-game is annoying, it wants you to either restart the round or wait for the next round waiting period instead of simply applying the changes next round - except even when restarting the round half the time it doesn't work until the next round... Now this one isn't as much of as bug as it is inadequate code, but the netcode is pretty bad. Not in that people teleport around and all, but there is a definite host advantage. I thought guns had *terrible* accuracy at first, but realized after hosting that no, guns don't have great accuracy but most of it was in fact just the total lack of compensation for the ping between me and the host, and it was suddenly much easier to hit people when I was host... (and inversely, they barely could ever hit me, no matter how big of a prop I was!)
