This is one of those games where I wish steam had that "meh" option they pulled out for April Fools. It's not a bad game, but I also wouldn't call it a good game. This feels like the sort of game I should have been able to get for free on itch.io, you feel me? I cottoned on to the fact that you couldn't be hurt pretty quickly, and a lot of the jumpscares were pretty predictable. I think I only got genuinly startled like... 3 times...? A lot of the spooks were pretty easy to guess. Environments were pretty. Would be nice to see the devs make an actual game and not a glorified stare simulator. There is something slightly amusing, at least, of the idea of staring at a spook so hard it goes away lmao

Lets get the game review out the way first. The game plays heavy on sound and atmosphere to deliver the jump scares. It uses a lot of environment interactions to move some parts of the game forwards. It's a good fun 1 hour trip. Got myself through this by making a lot of jokes to keep me going. Now to the part a lot of people seem to miss. This game HAS a story. A silent story. If you want to read my take reveal the spoiler. The Baby is a very important part. Think about everything you see. The monsters and demons, stalking you, towering over you. It's a guys mental health breaking and along comes a baby and brings him back to the light into the open meadow.
