The movements are stiff, the visual effects cause blindness and dizziness, and the production is extremely sloppy as hell. but I still passed it 100%

🎃 A short, casual, relaxing adventure that won't take you more than ~4h. It's easy, has few mechanics, and a simple approach to everything, but that doesn't make it bad. The platforming isn't complicated, the controls are extremely responsive, and button usage is minimal. Each level strives to be unique, with new weapon and short minigames. Secrets aren't all that hidden, and you can unlock some skins. The enemies aren't particularly challenging, but even so, the bosses are nice. The dev was clearly inspired by similar games from 5-6 gens, but something similar could easily have been released on the PSP. It's considered a kid's game, but yes, it's definitely suitable for kids wanting to get acquainted with the genre, but it's also a good project for adults looking for a light, fun game with a Halloween vibe. If the price is too high (for such a small game), a big discount will help ease your doubts.

A movimentação é fluida, leve e muito responsiva, fazendo com que cada fase seja prazerosa do começo ao fim. O jogo ainda conta com várias armas diferentes, cada uma com um estilo próprio de combo, o que mantém o combate variado e divertido. Além disso, os mini-games espalhados pelas fases são ótimos, simples, criativos e dão uma quebrada perfeita no ritmo da aventura. Pumpkin Jack is simply a joy to play. It brings back that nostalgic vibe from classic 3D platformers, heavily reminiscent of Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, and even some PS2-era games. The movement is smooth, responsive, and light, making each stage fun from start to finish. The game also features several different weapons, each with its own combo style, keeping combat varied and enjoyable. It has a charming retro feel, and in some moments even uses classic melodies with a darker, Halloween-like twist. It’s the kind of OST that genuinely enhances the experience and sticks with you. Conquistas | Achievements Para quem gosta de completar jogos, Pumpkin Jack é um prato cheio. Ele é muito fácil de platinar (100%). Só de jogar normalmente e completar as fases você já pega a maior parte das conquistas. Os colecionáveis são simples de encontrar e, caso você perca algum, dá pra voltar na fase e pegar depois sem dor de cabeça. É o tipo de jogo que recompensa o jogador sem burocracia. If you enjoy completing games, Pumpkin Jack is perfect. It’s very easy to get 100%. Just playing through the stages normally earns you most of the achievements. The collectibles are simple to find and, if you miss any, you can go back to the level later without any problems. It’s the kind of game that rewards the player without unnecessary grind.
