I love this game and its building systems. Its an absolute shame that the developer didnt make a second game or any other games for that matter that expanded upon this game. It would be an absolute blast if this game had co-op or multiplayer where you fight for control of the map. Even after 10 yrs I would still recommend this game. Its simple to understand but you can make some very complex 2 ships.

this game is a hidden gem that is only known to a select few i being one of said few if only it got the recognition it deserves but notheless the community make sure the game shall continue on for a long time to come if you see this review this is your call to get the game it is my promise as a gamer that you will not regret it

so, this is an interesting game, I love it, I loved it, I still love it, it is amazing for a game that apparently hasn't been updated since 2021 (no hate) buuuuuuut. This is one of those games that the progression can and will be slow, but once you use hacks, you'll never go back, (not that this is not a good thing) My issue is with the building setups, mostly all of the factions are cuboid, some of the cool triangle ones are the best for building, but uh (well, the red sucks in weaponry, no shield, crystaline has like 3 different weapons, no shield, the modded ones are either stupidly powerful, or they have an impossibly long start that really makes it hard to start off on) The lack of weaponry on the triangle thingys really stinks, and a general lack of weaponry in general, it is usually all the same thing, a few varients, and I dont mind that until I play for longer then 4 hours at once, I would still recommend, to be sure, but it would really be great if the more diverse factions had more diverse weapons

I like Reassembly because you can interact with the world with emergent effects, without being a complicated game like Star Sector. The main resource in this game are purple balls that everyone seems to fight over. They actually drop from plants that grow on asteroids, sprout seeds and die. On the default faction (Terran), you can actually design a ship to chop up asteroids and use the manipulator to drag pieces around. I cut up an asteroid to create a breeding ground where plants could grow all over the place, only to find out later that the my faction's population in said region was flourishing. And never would I have thought to build a fleet of capital ships to wage a war against space cactus. But I did, and its surprisingly satisfying.
