You are a doctor that makes colonoscopies for some of the most delusional and freaky patients (they remind me of the ones in the show "My Strange Addiction"). Every patient you treat can change their outcome depending on how you clean and get rid of foreign aliments inside their intestines. You can act as a caring and professional gastroenterologist, or be the worst non-licensed doctor that consults Wikipedia for every single medical condition. One thing that genuinely impressed me in this game is the story. Every dialogue between the doctor and the patients is well written in my opinion. You may find the gameplay a bit slow, a bit repetitive, absolutely revolting, but Revenge of the Colon will live in your mind for a long time.

bro, what the hell, literally all 5 patients in this game ate things that most of them aren't food

The exact kind of weird and wonderful gaming is uniquely suited for! Takes just the right amount of time and has probably the only look and tone this game would ever have worked with. My only complaint is I wish there were hotkeys for the tools instead of having to constantly move between them. As someone who has had many colonoscopies, it was a very rewarding experience.

The type of game that only sickos who watched surgeries on National Geographic or the Discovery Channel while eating a meal as kids could enjoy. Like me. Humour aside, this game captures the horrors which endoscopy can offer (and more) very well with its early 3D game console look. It does get somewhat repetitive though, but it's worth playing through it just to see what's next.

is this game ass or is it a crap ton of creativity and intrigue? Thankfully it was the latter with a hole lot of creativity. Revenge of the Colon is a first person PS1 style horror game where you perform colonoscopies on several patients which each one being a level split into three sections. A unique premise with a large intensines worth of potential for original design. I appreciated the gameplay loop and linearity of each patient/level , as simple as food going in and out of the body, very satisfying to clear each section of the titular Colons with each tool. You play as the tiny camera using tiny tools inside of the patients,While it makes sense for the context of the player being a tiny camera, I found the movement speed very slow and I had to turn the speed of camera movement ass this was as painful as being constipated! This however, was my only complaint, the variety of tools was good, each level upped the horror going from everyday stuff to nightmare fuel that will make you fart in terror by the end. The PS1 style graphics were very well done and more convincing than other games that attempt that same look. I do think the lack of voice acting was doo doo and the ending was a little abrupt, although I Know there are several endings, I got the good one hehehe. There is no ending cutscene and only text appears after each patient which is slightly disappointing as the start of levels have cutscenes so did the other half get flushed down the toilet? The text was not total poop. overall Revenge of the Colon will get inside you in all kinds of ways and I actually would've wanted more with even crazier levels and some more tools to use! Still great horror game with a satisfying gameplay loop and premise with just a bowel movement away from being great if it were voice acted with a bit more content. Thanks for reading bye!
