I mean, call it AI slop all you want, I like this much more than other games in the genre, including Melvor. Does it need some optimizations? Sure. Is it fun regardless? Also yes.

Played this when it was in an earlier Beta in the discord and enjoyed it a lot. It's great to see how far it's come along since then, and it perfectly scratches the Idle itch I've been looking for. Pros: - Progression is satisfying, you can sit on a task for as long or as short as you'd like. - You can be as hands-on or hands-off with this game as you'd like, but you are rewarded for paying more attention to what you're doing. - Goals are pretty clear and concise, nothing is buried under a bunch of other stuff. - Combat loot is actually really nice, some monsters are a little underwhelming, but overall they feel good to chew through for Slayer tasks and it doesn't feel like you're just piling up trash in the Monster Drop window. - Everything feels like it has a purpose; Chests, Achievements, Quests, Collection Log (for satisfaction), and the Shop. I feel like most Idles end up having features that quickly become obsolete or aren't very intuitive to begin with. - In-game Wiki is an immensely nice feature, you can see what the item is for, how many you might need for Quests, or how to get more of it. Cons: - In-game Art is AI-generated. Personally, this doesn't bother me, but for others it may. - Some small nitpicks like typos, again, doesn't really bother me, personally. - Bank has a Sort button, but it doesn't automatically Sort, you have to use the drop down menu to do so; also pretty minor nitpick for me. - Inventory Clutter can be annoying before you get Hard Achievements done for the different Sacks that carry drops for you, it also takes a while before you can even get to those achievements. Even after you get the Sacks, those will also clutter up your already-limited Inventory, can't say I'm too big of a fan and this is probably my only main criticism. - Early Combat feels pretty terrible. With the way Accuracy works, you have to focus on an enemy you can reliably hit for a while until you get gear upgrades, and then grind your other skills to make the gear/jewelry. My suggestion? Start with Magic, use Thieving to get some dosh, do quests until you can steal from Rocky's Stall, use those rock fragments to make Sigils, then go hard with Magic. This will allow you to make Necklaces and Rings under the Crafting skill and it'll save you some sanity.

Review based on 2.3k+ hours on Melvor, this game is really good so far and shares the OSRS foundation which I believe is S tier for Idle games personally. If this is just the start of things to come, this game has a very promising future. Definitely worth the price of entry. Improvements over Melvor - Ingame Wiki - Info ingame of loot drop rates - Ingame achievemnt system and rewards - Quest system and rewards - If you need an item for anything, you can click on it and it will take you to the monster that drops it to fight it straight away Little QOL features which really surprised me.

Similar to Melvor Idle feels more like an idle runescape game, which is why I love it!
