A casual sailing rpg game. Its fun sailing around in the different ships you can craft. If you have an interest in the age of sail then you will find the game enjoyable.

Salt is pretty chill game. I usually play it just to relax, but end up fighting pirates and treasure hunting. The ships are fun to grind for and overall its a solid game.

I bought this April 10th 2016, but just started playing it on August 31, 2024. I paid $9.89 for it back then and I see it's gone up 50% since since then. Its a bit of a strange game and I don't think the devs thought it out too much. They made some things super simple, like being able to summon your ship out of your inventory at any time and other things super difficult, like trying to figure out mapping and which way you're going.
