The last game from the series so far, and with a crazier adventure than the others to boot, if you liked the previous games you'll like this one, but be warned its a bit harder on the puzzles with the whole toys system added, but it's still worth a playthrough even if you get stuck ocasionally. Ran fine at 55-60 fps on my deck without tweaking anything, a tad toasty though since i could hear the fan going a bit crazy sometimes. Stay for the after credits scene!

This one is different from Save the World. It took a while to get into the story, but it grabbed me after a while. The writers had too much fun with this. Almost finish with it and can't wait to see the ending.

the devil's playhouse was my introduction to sam and max when i was just a little kid and it was what made me ultra obsessed with this unfortunately niche series. so many funny quips and tough puzzles (for a 12 year old) made it so entertaining to keep playing. now the most well-made piece of telltale's history is remastered in all it's glorious perfection. it's well worth the price every single day of the week, and even more so worth your time. p.s. they literally made a 2d drawing to use during dialogue choices in the style of the comics and oh my god has it had me gushing over it every time i see it

‎It saddens my heart since this is the last season of Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse. It feels like a curtain call for one of gaming’s strangest comedy duos. Across its five episodes, the series leans into surreal humor, cosmic conspiracies, and Max’s unpredictable psychic powers, all while Sam’s dry wit keeps the madness grounded. ‎ ‎The remaster sharpens the visuals and sound, but what lingers most is the tone—a mix of absurd laughter and bittersweet finality. Some puzzles are difficult and stumble under repetition, and the narrative occasionally spirals into confusion, yet the heart of the series shines through: a celebration of chaos, friendship, and weirdness. ‎ ‎As the trilogy’s last act, it doesn’t aim for perfection but for authenticity, ending with the same offbeat charm that made Sam and Max unforgettable. It’s a farewell that feels both messy and meaningful, a reminder that even in nonsense, there’s room for heart.
